Straight forward and to the point!

This book was helpful. It made me realize that one guy breaking up with me doesn't mean I'm worthless. This book was almost like talking to a good friend. This author tells you how it is and what should be done to heal or protect your heart. I also loved all the motivational quotes by various people!

Get over that dirt bag

Would you recommend this audiobook to a friend? If so, why?

Yes I would. My sister was just broken up with and the tips in this book really help you move on.

What was one of the most memorable moments of Pocket Pep Talk: Get Over That Breakup, Today!?

"The best way to get over an old guy is to get under a new one." I"m not sure I 100% agree with this only because that is what a rebound is. But it was funny to listen to.

Which scene was your favorite?

Chapter 6 was filled with quotes that were funny and helpful.

What insight do you think you’ll apply from Pocket Pep Talk: Get Over That Breakup, Today!?

I really enjoyed the salty language from this book mostly because if you are recovering from a break up and you have gotten this book for either yourself or a family member/friend you are angry. You need to hear the salty language. You need to call that guy a dirt bag or jack ass. What will I apply to my life from listening to this? Probably the helpful information that I am not the first or only girl that has been broken up with (I know that doesn't apply to me right now but it does to my sister) and you do feel pretty crappy when your broken up with for some stupid reason like "I don't think I love you, and I think I should love you by now" after dating only 4 months...and seeing on another once every 2 weeks. That's bs, and we all know it. He isn't worth your time, so go have fun with the girls, flirt with a new guy your interested in and move on.

OMG! This book has just the right advice, that I need to give a friend, who has recently experienced a breakup. She actually needs help in how she is dealing with her loss of a long term relationship. I most definetly will recommend this book to all of my unfortunate friends going through a breakup.

Much Needed Tough Love

I have been struggling to get over my ex for the better part of a year, but I can honestly say listening to this short audiobook has finally made me see that I have given him more than enough of my time already.

It hurts so badly to be dealing with this, but how much more am I going to wallow in this misery? I just can't do it anymore, so I started looking for books to give me some encouragement. I found this one and it has truly helped. There's a whole section of quotations that are meant to encourage and they were so great. I only wish it was a little longer, but there's so much healing in just these 30 minutes that I know I'll be listening to it over and over again. Thank God for this little book because it has truly helped me see that this doesn't have to last forever.

One note, Shana James does use some rather "rough" language in some parts lol, but I'll be honest, I think that's what helped snap me out of it. Day by day. I know I'll be able to move on, now.
