    "Good, uncommon sense!"

    I appreciate Dr. Goodman's reasoned, science based medical advice. I love his refusal to agree that we need to be victims or to accept preventable disease as a normal part of aging. Eat whole, healthy foods, move your body and cultivate meaningful relationships!

    "Dated, inaccurate and biased"

    This book was a great dissapointment. I guess I was expecting too much from someone who is not practicing in the field of his topic. The author, although a renowned sugeon and having read widely on health and longevity has clearly not been studying in depth nor practicing in this field. I don't mind if an introductory lecture is so full of bland and overly simplified generalizations but a"classic series " should be more accurate and less tainted by personal bias.

    "Good information; applause irritating!"

    The content is excellent but the disruptive recorded applause is frankly, annoying. The teaching company even does the applause during meditation sessions. Please consider stopping this practice. We all know the reader/instructor is not in front of an audience. They are in a studio with a mic in front of them. I like your audio book but ..

    The information presented in this lecture series is very informing. It's structured to get some of the misleading health information debunked, and focus living a long and health life by focusing on community, healthy eating habits, physical fitness and mental acuteness​ observed be cultures in the "blue zones".

    "Very Encouraging"

    I've been selling this audiobook to all my friends and family lately. The narrator makes this series easy to understand and his advice for living a healthy life seems easy to follow. When I started this audiobook the first few chapters encouraged me to start a couch to 10k program and now having just finished I can now run miles at a time, which I haven't been able to do in years and didn't think I could do so soon after having a baby (I have a 2.5 month old). his science based advice on eating and exercising is simple enough that it can stick in your head when you're reaching for the fridge for lunch or getting out of bed to exercise. and he does this all in a sweet, encouraging grandfatherly voice. highly recommend, it will change your life!

    "A very comprehensive course"
    If you could sum up Lifelong Health: Achieving Optimum Well-Being at Any Age in three words, what would they be?

    This course guides through all major aspects of wellbeing


    What was one of the most memorable moments of Lifelong Health: Achieving Optimum Well-Being at Any Age?

    The most memorable part for me was about the cellular biology of aging.


    Any additional comments?

    I would say this course is one of the most comprehensive read/listen about wellbeing and anti-aging I came across so far. The only downside for me was that its a little bit dated and such statements as "low fat products lessen your heart attack probability" are already proven wrong. So, as the Dr himself said in the beginning, information changes all the time and some becomes obsolete, you have to stay open minded and constantly educate yourself!
