incredibly helpful

As a former psychology student, it was easy to follow and there were parts of the book that I could genuinely relate to. I feel that the narration flowed well and I like the fact that it felt like a more personal listening experience - actual examples of people were used that made it more relatable. This was not just another boring and uninteresting book about OCD where some doctor likes to throw around big terms to stroke his own ego. Well done! I would recommend!

best book on ocd i've ever read

What made the experience of listening to OCD the most enjoyable?

it was so honest. the author isn't just a scholar. he seems to understand ocd firsthand.

Who was your favorite character and why?

the author. he wrote it, narrated it, lived it

Have you listened to any of J.-M. Kuczynski’s other performances before? How does this one compare?

yes. this is not one of his best performances, but it's still pretty good

If you were to make a film of this book, what would the tag line be?

ocd, beware

Any additional comments?

i love this author

Horrid Narration

Incredibly difficult to get past the robotic narration...the book also took a strange and unannounced turn by doing a q&a about a third of the way through. Overall, just incredibly jarring and unhelpful.
