Let’s face it, estate planning is complicated and confusing. And talking about your death is uncomfortable. It’s no wonder estate planning is one of those things parents put off until it’s too late. But it doesn’t have to be this way. Remember the story of Cinderella, the orphan mistreated by her evil stepmother and stepsisters? Consider an alternative legally "happily ever after" that starts with an estate plan and ends with Cinderella keeping the house! The reality is that children all over the world suffer because their parents fail to put an estate plan into place.

Many Americans dream of financial freedom, but they're stuck in dead-end jobs and don't know how to get there. You don't need to be one of them. If you invested $35,000 in the stock market today, it could take 52 years for that investment to grow to $1 million. But if you invested that same amount into one single-family $140,000 rental property, it would only take 19 years. With just two rental properties, you could generate $417,000 in profit in just 10 years. Skeptical?

On the face of it, a simple book of 26 poem fables sharing one man’s wisdom. But The Prophet is so much more than that. It has inspired people from John F Kennedy to The Beatles and became the '60s Bible of counterculture – all because of the timeless truths it shared. Each poem takes a different theme – pleasure, beauty, freedom, joy and sorrow – as the fictional Al Mustapha shares his thoughts and experiences as he prepares to travel back to his island home.

The ancient Toltecs believed that life, as we perceive it, is a dream. We each live in our own personal dream, and these come together to form the dream of the planet, or the world in which we live. Problems arise when our perception of the dream becomes clouded with negativity, drama, and judgment (of ourselves and others), because it's in these moments of suffering that we have forgotten that we are the architects of our own reality and we have the power to change our dream if we choose.

Story
The history of the tablets translated in the following book is strange and beyond the belief of modern scientists. Their antiquity is stupendous, dating back some 36,000 years. The writer is Thoth, an Atlantean Priest-King, who founded a colony in ancient Egypt after the sinking of the mother country. He was the builder of the Great Pyramid of Giza, erroneously attributed to Cheops. In it he incorporated his knowledge of the ancient wisdom and also securely secreted records and instruments of ancient Atlantis.

Fantastic crash course honesty
I love this book! this was concise and highly elaborate information all at once, giving you a wonderful breakdown of all the things to know that "you may not know or may not know you don't know". This was the third book I read on estate planning but the first to arm you with the right questions and motivate you to get into your first meetings to protect yourself and your family! read this book, listen to this book, then read it again, then read other books and then come back to this book, cuz you will forget and you will learn over and over.

Easy to understand
Author does a great job explaining estate planning in plain English. Adds stories in to make it more interesting and relatable.
