You need 20-40k for 20+ years to do this

The majority of this book explaining why you should listen to the author’s idea. While I personally enjoy the topic, i can imagine how it might irritate others who are looking for a more practical description of how to engage and achieve the results described. If one compresses the information it would be a winner. The repetition makes this unnecessarily long. Its also outdated in reference (2000). Ultimately it is a nice concept… get whole life and use it to finance things you need. The biggest challenge to this I see is the high premiums needed to really make this approach work for you. The key being you have to continue paying the premiums for several years to be able to reap the stated benefits (and continue there after). If you have at least 20-40k of annual disposable income for 20+ years, this book is for you! Otherwise, take a peek but keep looking for additional strategies.

Great book for advanced planners

If you’re not advanced, get the hard copy and read it slow and multiple times. If you’re looking for entertainment, go watch sports, but if you’re looking to set you’re legacy straight, get an understanding of what he’s telling you.
