Publisher's Summary

Jason Thorn...my brother's childhood friend. Oh, how stupidly in love with that boy I was. He was the first boy who made me blush, my first official crush. Sounds beautiful so far, right? That excitement that bubbles up inside you, those famous butterflies you feel for the very first time - he was the reason for them all. But you get to live in that fairy tale world only until they crush your hopes and dreams and then stomp on your heart for good measure. And boy did he crush my little heart into pieces.

After the stomping part, he became the boy I did my best to stay away from - and let me tell you, it was pretty hard to do when he slept in the room right across from mine. When tragedy struck his family and they moved away, I was ready to forget he ever existed. Now he's a movie star, the one who makes women of all ages go into a screaming frenzy. Me? I'm Olive, a new writer. Actually, I'm the writer of the book that inspired the movie he is about to star in on the big screen. As of late, I am also referred to as the oh, so very lucky girl who is about to become the wife of Jason Thorn.

Contains mature themes.

A must-read!

Being in my early 20's, I've found it difficult to find cute books that include romance, but not so much that it's all about the sex. This book is the PERFECT fit for me. It has all the giddy moments, with some heated delicious moments sprinkled in. Overall, the characters are easy to love, and this made for an excellent listen!

A sweet romantic love story.

Every girl remembers her first love and this story is all about that first love and how it never falters even through many years of separation. This book is very realistic and it's every girls fantasy that her first love (who would inevitably turn out to be a movie star) would come back to tell her how much he loves her... in the end, would marry her. In this book however since the sequence of events are a little out of order but in the end all her dreams come true.

The narrators both do such a great job. Lidia is very convincing as the main character Olive and it's not difficult at all to picture Sebastian as the love of her life Jason.... All in all, this was a heart warming love story and well worth the listen/read!!! 💞

Oh... and P. S..... there is some crazy hot sex scenes..... yum!

I LOVED JASON THORN... & SEBASTIAN YORK TOO

What a wonderful story... sweet, addictive, fun, sexy and with a few curveballs thrown into the mix. Well written, brilliantly narrated, two great characters, a few likeable interesting secondary characters and a romance that took time to develop, build and grow into an all-consuming love story.

Worth a credit? Yep, IMO a dual POV addictive storyline, a sexy dirty talking hero and a HEA ending definitely makes this awesome Contemporary listen creditworthy.

This was fantastic!

I can't believe there isn't more hype about this book! I enjoyed it so much. The story is so sweet and I love how it was wrapped up. It was sweet and sexy without being too much. Ella created the perfect relationship in this perfect book! I couldn't recommend this enough.

overused nickname like nails on a chalkboard

The extremely overused "little one" nickname became excruciating with it's unnecessary repetition. With the way it was set up in the story & constantly used, it felt a bit like an adult male with a young girl fixation which was just uncomfortable. I know it wasn't meant to read that way, but the storyline didn't need the child's nickname reference so often. It came off belittling to the female lead.

heroine acts like a 13yr old the whole book

I almost gave up on the book, it was a struggle to finish because I couldn't stand olive. the whole book she was so annoying and childish. The book is good if u can get over her whining and childishness. The narration was great! the second book is WAY better

Steamy, feel good romance

I must agree with some of the reviews on here- this book is underrated for sure. I enjoyed every bit of it, althought it is not action and drama packed the author succeeded in writing a feel good romance leaving a big smile on my face. And boy it was steamy, sizzling hot capturing that bottled up chemistry between the characters perfectly!
Sebastian, as allways just added to the swoon factor of the hot male lead. Lidia portrayed the female roles perfectly.
A definate 5/5...

Rediculous.

What disappointed you about To Love Jason Thorn?

The story tried to get interesting but it just went on and on with chatter.

Would you ever listen to anything by Ella Maise again?

No

Who would you have cast as narrator instead of Lidia Dornet and Sebastian York ?

Andi Arndt<br/>

If you could play editor, what scene or scenes would you have cut from To Love Jason Thorn?

Where she is thinking. I got tired of hearing her thoughts...get on with the story

Any additional comments?

I hope I can return it

HOW not To Love Jason Thorn

If you could sum up To Love Jason Thorn in three words, what would they be?

Funny, Original, Romantic

What did you like best about this story?

I like the idea behind the story. I love the childhood crush to Lovers idea, but it was very well planned and the dialogues are engaging.

Which scene did you most enjoy?

OMG I think I would never go to A Karaoke Bar and not think about that scene between Jason and Olive, that first kiss was MAGICAL!

Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?

Yes, however life caught up with me and it took me longer that planned to finish it, nevertheless I loved every minute.

Any additional comments?

Sebastian York, is there anything he cant do?? He brings each of his characters to life and Jason Thorn was no exception, he makes the reader fall madly in love but he always puts everything into his acting, he is just sensational!! I do have to admire Lidia Dornet, because she sounded how I imagined Olive to be. So not taking away from the incredible book, but the actors made it even more wonderful.
