New Orleans belongs to me. You don't know my name, but I control everything you see - and all the things you don't. My reach knows no bounds, and my demands are always met. I didn't need to loan money to a failing family distillery, but it amuses me to have them in my debt. To have her in my debt. She doesn't know she caught my attention. She should've been more careful. I'm going to own her. Consume her. Maybe even keep her. It's time to collect what I'm owed.
I do what I want and who I want. I don't follow anyone's rules-even my own. I knew I shouldn't touch her, but it didn't stop me. Didn't stop me the second time either. Only made me want a third. My lifestyle suits the savage I am, and she doesn't. But Temperance Ransom is my newest addiction, and I'm nowhere near ready to quit her yet. I'll have her my way, even if it means dragging her into the darkness. Hopefully it doesn't kill us both.
Country music's bad boy, Boone Thrasher, takes center stage in USA Today best-selling author Meghan March's brand new stand-alone Real Dirty Duet!
He loves me, and he doesn't even know my real name. The limelight that follows him could expose everything I'm hiding. But even knowing the risks, I can't force myself to stay away. I'm going to break his heart, but mine will shatter right along with it. Will we lose it all when I reveal what's beneath this mask?
He's arrogant. She's self-righteous. I hate him. I want her. I've been turning him down for two years straight. Every shutdown makes me work harder. I'm not a one-night stand kind of girl. She doesn't realize I won't settle for only one night. He's a distraction I don't need. She'll say yes eventually because I'm not giving up.
Books talk about sparks flying. F--k that shit. With her, it was like emergency flares mixed with jet fuel. Or maybe just straight up napalm. Only one problem: She wouldn't tell me her name or her number when she disappeared from the hotel room after the hottest f--king night of my life. Now I've had a taste of unicorn pussy - the sweetest, rarest of all pussy - and I need it again. So what's an asshole to do? I took this problem to the street, a missed connection gone viral. And when I find her? I'm keeping her.

Fall for a woman over text messages? No way in hell. Reality can never be as good at the fantasy, right? Wrong. It's better. Banner Regent is smart, funny, and so far out of my league she might as well be royalty. I'm a mechanic from Kentucky. She's a New York City party girl. We were never supposed to meet, but one text started something neither of us saw coming. How do you seduce the woman who already has everything? Show her what it's like to be with a real good man.
My name is Greer Karas, and I should never be allowed near another bottle of booze again. Because when I drink, my friend and I do stupid things. Like take a page out of my older brother Creighton's playbook and post something completely asinine on the Internet. Waking up with a giant hangover to find my humiliating personal ad has gone viral is not my finest moment.
We fell in love on a beach, got married in paradise, and rode off into the sunset. It should have been perfect, but saying "I do" doesn't guarantee a happily ever after. Two years later, I barely recognize either of us behind the walls we've built. It's time to bring it full circle. Back to a tropical paradise. Back to find out if we can still make this work. I'm not willing to give her up, but to save us, I have to risk everything.
How to kick off a great summer in the Hamptons: Snag a gorgeous rental on the beach. Check. Get a job at a trendy summer haunt. Check. How to screw up a great summer in the Hamptons: Fall for the one guy with a dark leather jacket, scruff on his face, and intense eyes that doesn’t fit in with the rest of the tony-looking crowd. I'm one puff piece away from tearing up my journalism degree and hurling my laptop into the Hudson River. So when I smell a juicy story brewing at my brother's Wall Street investment firm, I'll do whatever it takes to get my scoop. One clever disguise later, I'm deep undercover as the firm's newest broker, simultaneously gathering intel and spouting off stock tips like a boss. Go me, right? Sure, it sounds good on paper, but there's a catch: the actual boss. Chief Executive Panty-melter Jack Holt is cocky. Infuriating. And one smoldering look has me ready to violate every rule in the employee handbook. Thank God my assignment has an expiration date. Because falling for my brother's best friend and business partner is a lose-lose proposition. Right?
Growing up, the three of us were friends. He was the nerd. I was the playboy. She was the beauty. Deep down, I only ever wanted her. I kept it inside because Rory and I made a pact that our friend, Amber, was off-limits. He lied. I went off to college, and he got the girl. Amber never knew how I felt. They were together for years - before he broke her heart. Through it all and across the miles, she and I casually stayed in touch. When my job sent me to Boston for a three-month contract position, Amber let me stay in her spare room.
Catherine Barrington is a rich girl. Chris Cartwright is a poor boy. He left her to make something of himself. A man she could be proud of. A man she could bring home to her parents. A man she could marry. On the trading floor he became the man he knew he could be. Now, it’s time to return.
Unthinkable. Unbelievable. Inconceivable. I don’t recognize what my life has become. I can’t tell where the lies end and the truth begins anymore. He came into my world and urged me out of my safe little corner. All my dreams are coming true except the one thing I want most - my own happy ending. But I’ll fight for it. For now. For always.
I don't like to be touched. I'm the hacker-geek-goddess of the FBI. When I'm hiding behind my screen, I'm a safe distance from everyone; isolated, powerful. No man has ever touched me, but when I'm captured by Colombian drug lord Andrés Moreno, I no longer have the right to refuse. He's scarred and scary, and his cruel brother Cristian has tasked him with breaking me. I try to fight, but I can't escape his strong arms and harsh discipline. He demands that I accept his touch, and my virgin body can't help but respond to his masterful manipulations.
Songwriter Dylan McCoy has been burned. By her boyfriend she found in her bed...with someone else. By the contract she signed that obligates her to work with him until the songs for his new album are complete. By her agent when she asked Dylan to keep their breakup on the down-low. When she finds herself in Sunnyville, she refuses to let her new roommate burn her too. Still...a rebound has never looked so good.
I'm getting really good at cutting my losses. First, the husband. Divorcing him was the best decision I ever made. But between single-parenting and job-hunting, I can't catch my breath. When a celebrity blogging position falls into my lap, I'm determined to succeed. That is, until I get my first assignment and actually see Noah Frazier for the first time...practically naked and dripping wet. My heart races and I forget how to form complete sentences. His chiseled abs, irresistible smirk, and crystal blue eyes are too perfect to be real. So, what do I do? Get drunk and humiliate myself, of course.
We met in a trapped elevator. Emmett was on his way to work, sophisticated and handsome in his tailored suit and tie. I was on my way to the sperm bank. Awkward, right? At 35, my life hadn't taken the path I thought it would and I was tired of waiting - I wanted a baby. And I was ready to take matters into my own hands to make it happen. After our ill-fated elevator encounter, Emmett insisted on taking me to dinner - he also insisted on something else - that I ditch my plan involving a turkey baster and let him do the job. He would be my baby daddy.
The Mount Trilogy concludes with Sinful Empire!
What's mine, I keep, and that includes Keira Kilgore.
It's no longer enough to have her in my debt. No longer enough to own her body.
I want something more.
She can try to resist, but I'll never give her up.
Nothing will keep us apart.
Not her. Not my enemies. No one.
Her debt will only be paid one way - with her heart.
Sinful Empire is the third and final book in the Mount Trilogy.
I waited for all three books to be released before I started to listen to them because I know many of Meghan March"s books have a cliffhanger and I hate to wait too long for the next release. I know many people have a problem with cliffhangers and feel that the author should release as one book, but I just accepted it as...if you love March's books....It is what it is. Fortunately, she got each sequel out fairly quick.
With that being said, I have to admit that I love dark romances, so I was really excited about Lachlan Mount's story, especially since I completely devoured March's Beneath and Dirty Series. It was those books that got me addicted to listening to audiobooks because of the fabulous narrators and brilliant dialog that Meghan March uses in those books. Yet, I found that these three books did not reach that 5-star level that her other books did. ( I believe I gave 5 stars for all of the books in The Beneath and Dirty Series). Don't get me wrong, this was still a great story, but fell a bit short for me. I think this sometimes happens when someone falls in loves with an author's earlier works and compares them against those books. It does mean this is not a great story. It's just not my personal favorite.
Ruthless King started out strong and I was gripped by Mount's desire to control Keira and get her under his control. Mount is a true alpha who is hot and mysterious. Generally, a win-win for me. The sex scenes are off the charts sexy and definitely go beyond simple vanilla sex. Since this is a darker romance, there is not much true emotion for Mount or Keira at this point of the story. March eludes in her storytelling that Mount might have a bit of a BDSM preference. Yet, I would not even consider this a BDSM type of book. It's not that dark. In this book, March does an excellent job creating an interesting hero (if you can call him that) heroine and secondary characters. There are some mysterious twists and turns with some of the secondary characters which will ultimately affect the direction of the next two books. This book is definitely slanted more towards Mount's POV and Joe Arden is a perfect Mount (he is one of my favorite narrators). Yet, even though I read from other reviewers that Lachlan Mount is their dream book boyfriend, I personally think he is not for everyone. Even though I thought he was a sexy and deeply interesting, he would not be my favorite book boyfriend as compared to some of March's other books.
Defiant Queen was the real start of Mount and Keira's love story. This book was obviously more in Keira's POV and I do feel it was the sweetest part of the three book. Yet, it was my least favorite out of the three. Mount's decision to take Keira on her dream trip is a game changer because both Keira and Mount can let down their walls and start to really fall in love. Their get-away trip really changes the direction of the story because Mount and Keira start to remove their tough exteriors and they let some emotion into their twisted world. Unfortunately, for as much as I love gushy love stories, this audiobook was a bit slow for me. There was a lot of great sex scenes, but since I struggled with Grace Grant as a narrator, I wanted the story to move on since she was the prime narrator. Even though Grant does a good job as being the voice of a businesswoman extraordinaire, her voice as Mount and her "sexy voice" was somewhat of a turn-off for me. She comes across as whiny rather than sexy. I wish Joe Arden would have narrated more in this book.I believe if I would have read this book, rather than listened to the audio, I would have absolutely loved book 2 because I enjoy stories that have a dangerous alpha-like type hero who become sweet and tender to the woman he is falling in love with.
Sinful Empire was actually my favorite because March created all kinds of action, mystery, and drama. Plus, there are some hot sex scenes which have a deeper emotional element to them than books 1 and 2. March pulls everything together in this book to give you some great action, suspense and a Happily Ever Ending. This book was worth the wait because there are so many secrets that are revealed that make this book so much fun. Even though there was a great HEA, I did wonder how Keira was going to be a respected business owner when her husband (sorry spoiler) is basically the Mafia King of the New Orleans. Don't expect Mount to truly convert to being NOLA's citizen of the year. He is what he is.
If you are a fan of Meghan March, these books are a must-read. If you are new to Meghan March, I would recommend starting with the Beneath Series in order to fully appreciate Lachlan Mount's story since he is briefly in the Beneath Series. Overall: 4 to 4 1/2 stars and worth the purchase. Joe Arden: 5 stars Grace Grant: 3 1/2 stars.

I'm a bit disappointed. Meghan March is one of the my favourite authors and this is not her finest work. This feels like it was written on a haste and the female narrator is over dramatic. I was expecting a lot more.

I really loved this series, but felt I needed more on the last book. She did a great job pulling it all together with the Beneath series, however I felt something was missing at the end !!

Wow!!! This was the perfect conclusion to this fantastic series! Twists and turns I didn't see coming, a bit of action and suspense, sexy times and an epic romance! Narrators did an amazing job of bringing Lachlan and Kiera to life! Loved this series so much and highly recommend it!

I really like her books and the male used in here audibles. This story had a twist that I could not see. Just enough suspense to keep you listening.
the entire trilogy is awesome, I couldn't stop listening to it I love it. it story
A perfect ending to the Mount trilogy. I loved Lachlan and Keira! I’m so sad I’m finished and may have to listen again! Grace Grant and Joe Arden are awesome!
Definitely worth finishing the trilogy, although hea is a bit predictable. Why does every super rich and powerful couple fly off to an island and have perfect empires? Resolution of Mags’ storyline was left dangling (maybe for future stories?) hmmmm. I also liked how the story tied to Delilah and the ink shop. I would have like more hints and ties to her other stories in Nola.
On a brighter note, I appreciate the performances, easy to get into the voices.
Look forward to future stories to love.
You will not regret it! Very well written and portrayed. Keira has her moments as well as Mount but this series makes it better. Love it love it love it! Yass!!!
I have read and listened to several of her series and they were all amazing. If you have not been introduced to this author yet get on it what are you waiting for you won't regret it. What I love most is that all of her books are related some how and go back to some of the other characters from her other series.
This is a fairly new author for me and I love that these stories are hot but they also have great storylines.
The third and final instalment of the amount trilogy does not disappoint, what an ending, what a twist. I’ve loved this series from the get-go, both Keira and Lachlan are a couple who demand respect, I love how Keira steps up to the mark and makes her presence known alongside Mount. The story continues, as Mount tries to find who is responsible for trying to bring down his Empire, he’ll stop at nothing to protect Keira. With action, drama, intrigue and a few surprises added into the mix, Keira discovers her life may have been manipulated way before Mount entered her office that fateful day. I’ve loved every part of this trilogy, so sad for it to end. I’m going to miss listening to these narrators, they were the perfect Mount and Keira.
Wow what an amazing finale to this incredible series. Great characters and a compelling story of passion, want, murder and intrigue, with lots of great sex too. Would highly recommend
I loved reading this last part of this mount trilogy and I love the audible book as well both narrators are absolutely brilliant.
