Publisher's Summary

When Grace Andreas's sister, Petra, and her husband are both killed, Grace inherits the power and responsibilities of the Oracle of Louisville, as well as her sister's two young children - neither of which she is prepared for. Then Khalil, Demonkind and Djinn prince of House Marid, decides to make himself a part of the household, both as guardian and counterpoint to Grace's impudence towards the Elder Races.

Loved it!

This was so sweetly seductive that I called out sick just to finish the book.

I F'in Loved It! These two are a hot mess!

This book was realistic, fictional, fantasy, sci-fi-ish, hilarious, sheldon from big bang theory kind of funny! With some Kick-Ass motivation to read the next book near the end. This book so far, is my favorite.

Love this one!

I don’t normally write reviews but I had to write this one. I simply love this series. And I loved Grace and Khalil chemistry. I love every book in the series so far, but this one is on my top 10 favorite books list.
Stephanie Eastlake does a fabulous job in bringing the characters alive. She does a great job of connecting the listeners with a great story.
Thanks for that.
If you liked book 1 you will love this one too. If you haven’t picked up one of the books in this series yet, Make sure to read all the books in order as this is not a stand alone book.
Can’t wait for the next one happy reading/listening all.

My favorite book so far!

I was annoyed by the face southern accent at first but this is so well written you can't help but love it. I'm glad that I stuck with this series long enough to get to this one.

Excellent!

This the best book and the best narration of the series thus far. Never thought I would like the characters, since they're only introduced in the last book. But, It's so easy to love them.

Best of the series, I think

Moving past the whole Djinn-are-incorporeal-unless-they-wish-to-be-otherwise bit that threw me sometimes: this book was probably the best written of the series.

The relationship was believable and logical given the foundation and series of events in the book. The story outside of the relationship was also extremely interesting. I was never bored while listening.

Good job with this one, Ms. Harrison.
