Publisher's Summary

He's ruthless, and he does his job well, but he is very strict, rude and professional...in court. In his office and private life, he's a total bad boy playboy.

Dylan: I take what I want. Whether that be in court or in my bedroom. My father has taken a liking to something. Or rather, someone: Yvette. There is no way I am going to stand for that.

I've never lost a case before. But this was the first time I did. I had to get to the bottom of it. If not for my client, then for my own sanity. But will I be able to? What am I going to do about Yvette? She's too good at her job to try to risk pursuing, but God do I want her so bad!

Yvette: I was just doing my job. The job I wanted so badly. He's so strict at work. And I want him. But he's my boss! I'm at the verge of quitting. What am I going to do? I need to solve and win this case in court otherwise I'm just going to go backwards.

Object Me is a bad boy lawyer romance. There is no cheating, no cliffhanger, and a guaranteed happy ending!

    "no objection"
Would you consider the audio edition of Object Me to be better than the print version?

I believe that the print version of this book would be more enjoyable as the story is written from the Point of View of Dylan and Yvette. The narrator did a good job, but it was sometimes hard to distinguish which voice was having the POV.

Who was your favorite character and why?

I liked Yvette better than Dylan. Dylan did not appeal to me as he came across as a selfish prick

    Which scene was your favorite?

I liked it when Dylan fired his father

Did you have an extreme reaction to this book? Did it make you laugh or cry?

No extreme reactions. Some parts of the story were humorous

    Any additional comments?

I have read and listened to several books by Roxy Sinclaire. The narrator on this particular book did a good job, but I would have personally enjoyed it more if there would have been a male narrator doing the male POV. I was voluntarily provided this review copy audiobook at no charge by the author, narrator, and/or publisher.

Good listen. I think Yvette could have be a little tougher but otherwise a good listen.

"Nieve or push over? Still not sure"
Would you consider the audio edition of Object Me to be better than the print version?

Yes, I think it was well preformed. Though in all fairness I haven't read the print version but I do know I was entertained.

Would you be willing to try another book from Roxy Sinclaire? Why or why not?

Yes I have read some of Roxy Sinclair's other book oks and absolutely loved them, but I was a bit disappointed with this one. I felt like it was more rushed than her other books in the story telling.

Which character – as performed by Elizabeth Redmond – was your favorite?

I actually really liked Dylan. But she did Fanta with all the characters and you always knew who was speaking, and what their mood was.

Was there a moment in the book that particularly moved you?

I wouldn't say moved me, but more made me feel like yelling at Yvette that she is clueless and needed to grow a spine sometimes.

    Any additional comments?

I think the story itself is what made me feel on the fence about this book. It was well performed, well plotted, and has a great delivery, but the story itself just rubbed me wrong for some reason. It felt intrusive and verges on sexual harassmenty feelings for me as opposed to an affair with a sexy boss. I think that if Yvette had resisted things more, or didn't seem so clueless about others and it was not so quick on the draw with the actions between Dylan and Yvette but maybe drawn out and built up more it would have felt less creepy and more swoony for me. However I have read a lot of Roxy's books and loved them. Maybe it was just me, on an off day? I would say it's worth trying it out for yourself. I was given this audiobook for free from audiobook boom for my unbiased review.

Would you try another book from Roxy Sinclaire and/or Elizabeth Redmond?

    Absolutely

    Any additional comments?

I believe I would have perceived this book a lot different if I had read it instead of listen to the audiobook.
The story is good but I don`t think the narrative was the best, it come across as aggressive and I wasn't sure if I wanted to like either one of the lead characters to be honest.
Elizabeth has a great voice and will only improve but I really couldn't get into this audio, no change in tone from female/male.

Cute little love story if you are in hurry and need a quick read! Overall the performance was good, but it seem to be lacking a little emotion at times...

    "Object Me"

Object Me is a short-ish romance novel with a side of legal drama. The sexy scenes are steamy, which is always a plus! In my opinion the narration needed a little help because there was so little difference between voices that I often found myself thinking one character was speaking only to find out it was another one entirely. It got confusing from time to time.

    2.5 stars

Overall an entertaining but completely unbelievable story. The book sounded really interesting but I had a hard time with this book in the beginning which is unusual for a such a short story. It just wasn't holding my attention. I think that was due in part to the narration. Is it a story I will listen to again? Probably not.

There are some hot & steamy scenes so you definitely want to keep your earbuds in.

The story is told in dual POV's. This is the typical wealthy alpha I get what I want bad boy romance. Dylan was an unlikable piece of work for most of the story and Yvette came across as push over who couldn't stand up for herself.

Being a shorter story things had to move fast to get it all in there but the interactions between Dylan and Yvette were too rushed. Especially in the beginning. Who would really come in for a second day of work after that kind of a first day? The characters could of used a little more development, they were just there. I actually enjoyed the legal side of the story.

Elizabeth Redmond did an okay job with the narration. Pleasant voice. Easy to listen to for long periods of time. Of coarse her female character voices were good. There was no difference between male and female character voices though and that really effects the story. At times there was too much emphasis on each individual word that also effects the flow of the story. With a little more experience she could be a really good narrator.

This story would of benefited greatly with dual narration.
    Repeated line Chapter 9

"Hot & Steamy Shorter Listen Office Romance"
    Any additional comments?

I was provided this audiobook at no charge by the author, publisher and/or narrator in exchange for an unbiased review via Audiobook Boom. This audiobook was an interesting listen for some hot and steamy office romance and eargasms. I narrator did a good job bringing the characters and story to life. My only criticism is that if an author writes a male and female POV, there should be two different male and female performers. I get too distracted and confused sometimes trying to keep up with the attempt at a deeper voice or higher voice, depending on if a male or female is performing both POV's. Otherwise interesting storyline.

I so badly wanted to like this but found the plot just too unbelievable to really enjoy. The narration could have been better and her constant pronunciation of "second" as "secont" (one of my biggest pet peeves!) bordered on annoying. Two seemingly intelligent lawyers usually acted anything but. The saving grace was the happy ending.

I thought at first that Dylan was the boss from hell and a womanizing jerk. I still felt like that at the end lol. But Dylan really does love Yvette and he does care about doing the best for his client and his firm. Underneath everything he has a lot of integrity. I really enjoyed this story and it was beautifully presented.
