Friends to marriage

I choose this rating because it was such a good storyline and the narration was explicitly performed. Jackson and Pepper had been in love with each other 10!years before acting upon it and they both thought the the other didn't love them in that way. I loved the way that Jackson knew Pepper so well that he had Plan A and B outlined. But he hadn't planned on Pepper giving him a sucker punch when she arrived. Some parts were hilarious!

This book is definitely for adults 18 and older.

I just wish it was a lot longer. Other than that it was really good. Very well written.

It was my cup of tea

I enjoyed the narrator. The male character little kinkiness, I like it, and how they finally get together. They finally get together for knowing each other for many years.

Really Great read

Loved it and the narrator brought it to life, entertaining, and captivating just great overall

Ends abruptly. Steamy but needs more storyline.

this book was really steamy but it seemed like a lot of mind games between the characters.

The entire book is based on 3 to 4 days. Actually the whole story took place in 2 days. day 3 and 4 are just flashbacks.

read it in one sitting. Very well written and right amount of descriptive language. 😁

Two smart people falling in love.

This is a very super quick listen. This story is about two friends who have secretly loved one another for 10 years but yet has not had the courage to tell one another. As with life, a lot of impactful things happened to them which makes them realize that they need to tell one another about their true feelings. It sounds all well and good however when you have two head strong, intelligent, and independent/co-dependent, to one another, the feelings don't tend up translating into words.

This book had so many instances where it was straight miscommunication or rather lack of communication. Pepper and Jax both know that they love each other however they don't tell one another until literally the very end. Jax is so cerebral that he just assumes Pepper will just mysteriously realize that he loves her. On the other end, Pepper is so neurotic that her biggest fear is not having Jackson her life.

This was an okay book aside from the cuckoo crazy instances of just not talking to one another. It was a very sweet book and even though the relationship seems to move fast you have to take into consideration that these two have lover one another from the very beginning. So even though this romance took place within a week this romance has been building for 10 years.

not what I was expecting

I skipped past most of it because it was so predictable. The woman saying I won't to but I can't through most of the book. it was like the author was trying to keep the book going long enough to be a book and not just a paragraph. For me the story was over by the first chapter. It was a waste of my money.

Funny yet Short

This was a very funny and sexy best friend to lovers story. While Jax is very analytical, Pepper is a firecracker. They have great chemistry together. I think this had great potential. However It ended too abruptly. I also wish their was more of a backstory. We only saw how they got to Colorado as opposed to building up to it. Overall, this was a quick and fun read. It was low angst, very sexy and full of laughs.

Rebecca Wolfe captured the wittiness of the story. I think she was a solid choice for the narrator.

held my attention to the very end, wish there was more to the story. Looking forward to the next book
