Publisher's summary

Katie Winslow made a life-altering decision the night of senior prom. But once she realized what she had become, Katie wanted nothing to do with her new state. Running off to college seemed like a good idea until mating season hit. Now the fever to reproduce is so great she can't think straight.

Brindle Lindholm has his true mate locked in forever. If only Katie would come to her senses and accept that they are meant to be together. Mating season has come, and he knows Katie has to be suffering in heat. Brindle is the only one who can satiate the need, and even though his heart will have to stand the rejection that is sure to follow, he knows he must go to her. When their coupling satisfies more than sexual need, it changes their future, forever.

Not the right narrator

Would you listen to Brindle: Winter Valley Wolves #1 again? Why?

I don't think so.

Would you be willing to try another one of Erin deWard’s performances?

Depends on the story. I don't think she's the right narrator for this story.

Any additional comments?

Decent story but the narrator sounds like an old woman.

Short story that "packs" a punch

Love this story. Easy light read with great character development and fast movement. Can't wait to read the rest in this series

Brindle won my heart.

V.Vaughn has created characters who are funny, sexy and easy to fall in love with. These characters are then brought to life by the narration of Erin deWard. Fabulous job to both of these ladies. look forward to the next book.

Loved this story!

Brindle is such an amazing story of love, loss and family. The narrator did an amazing job at portraying both the male and female characters. Cannot wait to hear more from this series!

hearing it is better than reading

I have this book in print and loved it, but hearing it and hearing the different emotions in the voice made it more real. the heartbreak Brindle went through and then the heartbreak Katie went through just proved they were meant to be together. they just needed to find themselves first.

Can Young Love Win

Would you recommend this audiobook to a friend? If so, why?

Yes, good series, steamy yet touching.

What was one of the most memorable moments of Brindle: Winter Valley Wolves #1?

When Brindle offer to announce her at the pack meeting.

Which character – as performed by Erin deWard – was your favorite?

katie

Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?

Yes, stayed up until I listened to it all.

Any additional comments?

Katie decided to let her love claim her, turn her and make her a wolf too. Brindle was ready, she wasn't and ran from her new life, her love and tried to live her old way. When the mating heat hit her she knew the void of the last six months was nothing in comparison. When Brindle shows up to help her get through she vows it changes nothing.

Coming home again, Katie knows she can't live a life forgetting the change, but she still isn't ready to be with Brindle. What could make them both get over the hurt they have caused and regain the love that never really went away?

A story of young love and growing up. Touching, steamy and the start of another good series.

Great story and wonderful narrator

There are a couple of things that go into a good audio; a good story and a good narrator. This book has both. Not only was this an awesome story but Erin DeWard done an amazing job. I love the emotion she put into reading the book. It is what helps pull you into the story. Since I am so picky about audios I actually had listen to the sample before committing to the book. I actually did something a little different with this audio. I used the Whispersync for Voice-enabled. It was so awesome following along with my kindle while listening to Erin DeWard.

Katie Winslow decides to let Brindle Lindholm change her into a werewolf. Problem is after her change she decides it is a mistake. She wants nothing to do with her werewolf state. She keeps pushing Brindle time and time again. Letting him know that she wants nothing to do with him. This has to be like a punch to the gut each time she rejects him. Oh the pain he must of felt.

Katie soon discovers that after she goes in heat that no one can help her with this problem but Brindle. This changes things completely. This causes hurt, love, confusion, and a very important decision that they both must make. Will it be too late for Katie and Brindle?

I am a huge fan of wolf shifter books. Though I read a lot of shifters books these have to be my favorite. If you love shifter books as much as mine then trust me when I say this is a must read. I thoroughly enjoyed this audio.

I really LOVED this audio-book

Where does Brindle: Winter Valley Wolves #1 rank among all the audiobooks you’ve listened to so far?

As I've loved all my audio books so far, I'm just going to say that I LOVED Brindle in it's own way, I couldn't put a number on it.....

What other book might you compare Brindle: Winter Valley Wolves #1 to and why?

Why do I need to compare books???

Which scene was your favorite?

I loved the epilogue... entirely!!

Was there a moment in the book that particularly moved you?

I think a scene that moved me was when Katie realised that Brindle would always be IT for her & then found him at work....

Any additional comments?

I loved how Erin's voice got husky when the steamy scenes arrived, also how she would start reading a little faster during the scene too... I was still able to understand everything, but I thought it added a little something to my listening pleasure.

Having read Brindle, I was excited to hear what Erin could do with it, having never listened to her narrations before, & I was pleasently surprised!!

Heat can burn hotter when your love inflames you

If you could sum up Brindle: Winter Valley Wolves #1 in three words, what would they be?

No Matter where you go there you are, Love follows you where ever you go. Heat only get harder when you fan the flames with need. When her true love shows up to help her with her lil 'heat" issue from where she had run she fans flames when he leaves her she follows him home when thing fall apart. Truly sweet story how running from love truly run you right into it.

Sweet Beginning

Story was interesting. Not a lot of action or deff, but showed how the main characters get together.
