Fabulous

This was a wonderful read, I wanted to scream at certain parts but I was truly enthralled with the turns this story took.

Wonderful story -Beautifully done

I had a hard time connecting with the characters at first but see now the necessity of the way the story began. I don't think there is another writer out there right now who can capture the human essence the way this author does I don't have the words to describe how deeply this book affected me and how it has caused me to reexamine the choices we make and the timing of those choices. What if one choice costs years? Absolutely beautiful.

The second half was decent

Not that exceptional a book. The first half was only tolerable. The second half helped save it.

Well written with great characterization. So entertaining it was hard to put down. A beautiful story.

Started as a great book, but became predictable

I think the story line was great! But I feel that it got off track and was a lot of extra material, and characters that were not needed. I feel that the whole storyline with Ellie should not of existed the book should’ve focused on the love between the two main characters Jennifer and Anthony I feel that in the second part it should’ve focused on the 40 years in between their life and how it was. Not focus on these other characters that really had nothing to do with the storyline. I feel that I was very drawn out and once they introduced Ellie into the story the rest of the story line was extremely predictable. I feel that it took away from the beauty and the strength of true love.

Intoxicating Love Story

I loved this novel! I think the audible was a little hard to listen to because it flipped between so many different characters but I also had the book so I was able to clarify if needed. It ended up a beautifully written romance novel that touched me emotionally. I loved how she connected Ellie and Jennifer and demonstrates the differences in society over the 40 year span.

Love the twist and turns

Such a great story. I loved the twist and turns of the story. Every time I thought I knew how it was going to play out it changed on me. Was not expecting the ending as it did and was delighted with the many characters that was involved in the story telling. I listened to this book and enjoyed the person who read it.

Roller coaster of love!

Bought this on a whim during one of audible's sales and had no idea I would be so moved and engrossed by it. This is not your typical, predictable romance novel-- the author kept slinging out new facets to the story that I never saw coming. Sadness and wonder, joy and pain-- a roller coaster worth the ride!
