Publisher's summary

Flirting with my hot neighbor is like playing with fire....

Tate is not the sort of neighbor you can ignore. Especially when he walks around half naked for all the world to see. I can't help that I got a weak spot for bad boys. But that was before I became a single mom, and I’m not so weak anymore.

Besides, Tate lights my temper without even trying, and I swear he enjoys teasing me. Well, two can play at that game, and I think it’s time someone teaches him a lesson.

My friends tell me that I’m playing with fire, that I don’t know how dangerous Tate truly is. But I’m not scared of a little heat between neighbors.

But there’s something different about Tate that I can’t put my finger on, and I’m determined to find out what it is. Even if it means getting burned....

Mostly good. No cliff hanger but long

Pretty good. No cliff hanger leads into the next book which is good. But, it was pretty long. Some of it could have been condensed a bit I still enjoyed it

Strength and conviction

Harly and Tate found each other and did not know how to communicate what has happened to their life. A beautiful romance with some action and love who survived.

Not bad but sped up the narrator

Sorry ok. Predictable at time and writing a bit juvenile for the genre and sex themes. Will continue the series as want to see how the others fair. However put the narration speed at x1.05 as too slow. Not much quicker but definitely worked for me.

Better than I thought

Sometimes titles can be misleading. This is a great book and the circumstances are explained so there’s not a lot of happenstance that would never happen in reality.

Enjoyed!

Good story line. Just missing a lot of descriptions for the characters. I do a lot of envisioning in my mind when I read. I like to know eye color, hair color and other physical characteristics and most of that is missing in this first book. I'm still going to go buy the second one because its does have a good plotline going. I definitely enjoyed listening!

Narration is so flat

The story is cute. The characters are very two dimensional, most of the book is describing menial things like, "Tate cooked the steaks, we ate the steaks". 'Jill has the ball' type kindergarten booklet writing.

Spoiler---

So the ex boyfriend the mf is running from had her husband killed so he could be with her. Tate and Harley just let the guy go and Harley has about a 10 second reaction to that then doesn't touch on it again. Weird but ok.

the narration is so bad. So flat. Like the voice actor is reading an IKEA manual. It really takes away from the story and combined with the way this whole book is written it ends up very boring.

Also I've never come across a dragon shifter that cries this much.

Harley and Tate’s relationship

Good audio book but it would be even better if there was a male voice reading the male part and a female do those parts!
