Publisher's Summary

There's a tale as old as time of two people falling in love, but what happens when Belle won't have anything to do with it? Join her in this real life fairytale set in the small town of Silver Creek to find out how she'll transform the town's beast into a handsome prince with her heart, not her beautician skills.

"A Cute Take on a Classic Tale"

Beauty and the Beast Silver Creek Novella was a clean, cute cozy. The character of Belle was fun as was Gaston. It felt somewhat like Cinderella meets Beauty and the Beast. It was a nice way to spend some time and reminiscent of a fairytale.

Angie Hickman has a lovely voice. Her performance was delightful. This is the first story I've listened to in the Silver Creek Novella Series but hopefully not the last. I hope Angie narrates the others in the series as well.

    "I love fairytales!"

There is nothing like a spin off of a fairytale and Jamie Brook Thomoson is hitting it out of the park with this series. This time she takes my favorite, Beauty and the Beast and gives it a little twist. Her choice of characters of Belle and Adam are sure to win your heart. The use of the name Gaston as the evil character is priceless. I really loved the evolution of Belle and Adam, getting to know them and how their pasts shaped them to who they are today, a fun, and emotional ride. I also enjoyed the way Jamie integrated Cindy and Henry from her first novella into the story. Always fun to meet up with old friends in a series.

Angie Hickman is doing a wondeful job with this series, loving her performance.

    "A Christian Based Fairytale"

Loved the premise of making these fairytales with real life characters with common problems and everyday flaws. These are clean, christian based stories with a bit of action and an HEA. I loved how there were the classic characters and how Gaston was depicted! My one and only complaint was that the timeline was just a little rushed. I realize that this was a Novella and in them authors have some limitations with stories; however if the timeline would have been stretched out the story would have been just about perfect! I was given this free copy of this audiobook in exchange for an honest review.

Spare time at the pool or on a drive...It is a fun quick clean read / listen.

"nice modern take on a great story"

Nice quick book, and narration was not too slow... sometimes I lose concentration when books are read too slowly but not this one! perfect timing with the newly released Beauty and the Beast, this is a modern rendition. I loved the way everything tied together with the fairy tale, but enjoyable with references to Jimmy Choo pumps and such. I was voluntarily provided this review copy audiobook at no charge by the author, publisher, and/or narrator

    "Great Adaptation"

I loved this adaptation of Beauty and the Beast. The narrator was good with the story. the many plot twists added to the story although I have yet to understand how someone who knows that they locked their door just goes in when they find it unlocked and chalk it up to someone else left it open. they don't stop and call that person they just walk in and allow the villain to kidnap them. I know in fiction you suspend some beliefs but this is one scene that I would leave out of every book that has it in it. It is easier to believe that the villain is hiding inside the house and has gotten in by another means that the fact that my door is unlocked and I don't check with someone and let them know or at least ask.

"Short, sweet modern take to a classic fairy tale"

If you like fairy tales and you want something quick and easy to listen to, this book fits the bill. The story is a modern interpretation of the classic Beauty and the Beast, down to the names of some of the characters. The story is actually quite similar to the original but also features a little suspense, rotary and mobile phones and the sweetest HEA. It featured characters from an earlier book the series as the fairy tale characters form a growing community.

Overall, it was sweet and enjoyable.

This book was given to me for free at my request and I provided this voluntary review.
