Publisher's Summary

From the New York Times best-selling author of Not What She Seems.

Madison Nichols, aspiring actress, is floundering. Her rent is due and she needs a job. Desperately. After getting a tip about an open position, she rushes to Jameson Technologies and meets CEO Jared Jameson. Unfortunately, due to a misunderstanding, she is put in the awkward position of pretending to be his girlfriend. Not the job she was applying for. And when she finds out Jared lied to her to get what he wanted, she decides to get back at him. In front of his family.

Jared is stunned when Madison announces they are getting married. She pushed her revenge too far. How can he tell them it's all a lie? And when his sick aunt asks them to be married before she dies, Madison comes up with a hair-brained plan to hire an actor and stage a fake wedding.

What they both don't know is Jared's father has found out about the fake wedding. And he's got his own hair-brained plan.

This is a sweet romance, appropriate for any age.

Unoriginal, predictable,

I've heard the storyline a thousand times. The whole story was predictable and started to drone on towards the end. Good thing it's so short or I would've had to skim through to get to the happily ever after.

Sweet Contemporary Romance Well Told

Would you listen to Accidentally Married again? Why?

Yes! It was a very sweet romance with well-drawn characters you wanted to root for and a smart, funny set-up. The writing was very good and the reading was compelling and drew you into the story.

What was one of the most memorable moments of Accidentally Married?

There were a lot of memorable moments, but I loved the scene toward the beginning that sets the whole story in motion - when Madison, in trying to convince Jared's family that she is his girlfriend, makes up funny, clever stories about him.

Which character – as performed by Jennifer Drake Ford – was your favorite?

Madison, the heroine. She was completely relatable to me, like a friend, very witty, and someone I rooted for to get her happily ever after.

Cute and fun, great story line

So glad to have found this book and series! Can’t wait to listen to the next one. Just what I needed for stress relief. Easy and funny, and well written and narrated.

Most ridiculous plot ever

Even though this book was part of the Audible Escape program it still cost too much. I total waste of time. After about an hour I deleted. A total waste of time. The premise is inane, but could have been cute, but they're 2 awful people. She is definitely worse than he is, but save yourself and your ears and skip it!!

Another winner

I have enjoyed all the books in this series. This book was so fun and the chemistry between Jared and Madison sizzled. I love when an author can make me sigh and laugh.

Underdeveloped

The storyline was flat. The characters were flat. The only one that wasn’t was Irene. The author could have done so much with this story, but it just get like pieces of a chess board being pushed around with no underlining reason.

A character was there, said his line then he went off to do something else. It was a struggle to get through it. But what really had me was the instant love effect between the two main characters. There is/was no chemistry.

Read if you want, but not really worth the time.

Predictable but Refreshing

Needed a break from the heavy stuff while at work. The end goal was predictable but I’m not disappointed at the journey.

Funny unusual romance

A lovely story, which is funny and sweet and romantic. Starts with a mix up and ends with one too.
