Tate is not the sort of neighbor you can ignore. Especially when he walks around half naked for all the world to see. I can't help that I got a weak spot for bad boys. But that was before I became a single mom, and I’m not so weak anymore. Besides, Tate lights my temper without even trying, and I swear he enjoys teasing me. Well, two can play at that game, and I think it’s time someone teaches him a lesson.

Book ends abruptly
Book ends in the middle of a sentence 🤷♀️. Very annoying. I liked the story though. Hopefully they will fix it and give us an updated version.

Couldn’t stand to even finish
The story at first was ok - but then it just became melodramatic and sappy. It might have still been an ok storyline - but the female narration is SO Bad that I simply could not Stand to listen to it any more. Now - the male narrator was good , if he had a better book to work with but he was operating with a disadvantage of a story line that was WAY Too much like a Penny dreadful. And with a female voice that sounded just like a female in the old time flicks that were tied to a railroad just wailing “Oh NO! What am I going to DO?” And “somebody please help me!” Alternating with the little girl voice of indignation “I am So Sick of them treating me like this!” And then proceeds to fight off the person trying to rescue her and get her away from the real villain who wants to truly hurt her. Get a clue little girl, if the guy trying to carry you away from being tied up in the really bad guy’s bedroom - HE is helping you. So you don’t start pounding on him and demand that he let you go while you are still trying to escape the murderer. So - needless to say - I just couldn’t listen to any more.

ok
Warning! this is not a stand alone book this story is drug out for more then one book and is very slow. Its ok but sooo slow going. now i just got done with book 2 and no book 3 to finish the story so its aggravating.

Cuts off mid sentence
Love the book but disappointed that it cut off mid sentence on ending. Please fix and send updated version to buyers.

Only half of the actual book
I got both the kindle and audiobook versions. The audio is 35 chapters and cuts off abruptly.
The kindle version is 71 chapters.
While I understand the decision to split this into two audiobooks I see no reason to do so without making that clear to the purchaser.
As for the story it’s not bad but there is no reason it should take this long to tell.
Very long and drawn out for no real reason.

The girl narrator had a lisp
Worst part the girl narrator has a lisp and can get hard to listen to. Book is slow going. Story line is good just wish it would have not been so slow to get going.
