This one is a must read

I love reading romance, call it a guilty pleasure. However, this one is a must read. It’s more realistic than most romantic novels. Showing the hardships more realistically and she even left knowing her worth. I couldn’t help but love it!

roller coaster of a book

book is a little bit clunky at the beginning takes a few chapters to understand what's going on in the book but then it starts to pick up finishes very strong good narration through out

Morris and Aisha - Will They Ever Be Together!

This story is not your typical shifter fated mates story, it has several differences to other shifter books I've read which makes it a little more interesting and original.

We have two fated mates in Aisha and Morris, two shifters who although coming from totally different backgrounds have more in common than you would expect on first meeting them. He's the son of an Alpha, destined to be Alpha but trying desperately to escape the control of his father who is determined to see him mated and married to a female of his choice.

Then there is Aisha, one of Morris's students, struggling to raise Harry, her brother having escaped their cruel and drunken father and their pack. She struggles to cope, she has a scholarship to cover college costs but has to work in a bar for living expenses. She almost starves herself to ensure Harry eats and is just getting by. But then her wolf pheromones kick in when she meets Morris one of her professors and starts to feel strange. When she realizes it's because Morris is her potential mate she starts to take illegal pheromone blockers which could eventually kill her.

Morris at first thought she had been sent to trap him into mating by his father so their initial meeting does not go well, he threatens to give her bad marks which would mean she loses her scholarship. But everything spirals out of control when Aisha is attacked and he saves her. Morris doesn't want a mate but he does want to help her. So they come to an arrangement which should be mutually beneficial.

But their situation changes and she begins to hope for more but then his father does something which forces her to leave with her brother. Morris realizes too late that he not only desires Aisha but he loves her - but she's vanished. Will they ever be able to achieve their happy ending?

I enjoyed the story and was hooked from the first chapter and just had to keep listening until the end credits. There were lots of surprising twists and some really interesting well-drawn characters. I did like the growth made by the characters during the story,

The narration by Willa Jaymes is very well done and added to my enjoyment of the story.
