Many surprises and good wit
Iris was so irritating at times, but she mellowed and grew on me. Hunter was complex too and their banter was delightful. Life's hard knocks added to an unusual story which I think is worth a re-listen.

This was truly excellent
I read/listen to a lot of romance. This was truly excellent. The writing is clever and fun and as others have mentioned, the banter between them is great. But it has many twists that I never saw coming and issues that added a LOT of depth to this book. Will def check out more by this author.

Made me cry!
moving, lovely story of overcoming grief and finding new love. Didn't go in with high expectations, and I was very pleased.

Excellent audio book
The characters were well developed, the story was original in a genre where there aren’t always a lot of surprises. You really felt the emotions of the main characters.
