Publisher's Summary

Jesse Ward is back in the newest novel in the number one New York Times best-selling This Man series!

"The raw emotion and vulnerability is breathtaking." (RT Book Reviews)

"Super steamy, emotionally intense." (Library Journal)

Life is good for Jesse "The Lord" Ward. Perfect, actually. He still has the charm, he's in great shape, and he still reduces his wife, Ava, to a pool of desire with a mere look. He's in full control, just how he likes it.

But Jesse's perfect world falls apart when a terrible accident lands Ava in the hospital with a life-threatening head injury. Devastated and angry, he feels like his entire existence hangs in the balance. He cannot survive without this woman's love. So when she finally comes around, his shaking world begins to level out. But his nightmare doesn't end there. It's only just begun. Because his wife can't remember the last 16 years of her life. That's all of him. All of their time together. He is a stranger to her.

Now Jesse must do whatever it takes to find her memories...and help her fall madly, passionately in love with him all over again.

Long Live the Lord

I was on the edge of my seat when this book hit my account. The first three books were so flawless that I was terrified of the ways Jodi was about to break me. Getting Jesse's point of view was something I never knew I needed, but can't imagine never getting now that I have. This book was everything and while I cried like a baby, I couldn't have smiled bigger.

EXCELLENT, EXCELLENT, EXCELLENT

I haven't listened to Jodi Ellen Malpas in quite a while, but that didn't matter. This story covered all the bases. It was like I was listening to her other books and didn't need to get caught up. Even though, in this book, Ava's last 16 years have been erased, it is great, as a listener, re-listening. The narrators' voices melt me. They are perfect for this book. Loved the whole package.

END OF!

This Man is my favorite series. Of all the erotica series I've read, hands down This Man is my favorite. This 4th book, which was such a pleasant surprise, couldn't have been more perfect! Were there more than a few times that I knew what was going to happen? Yes. Why? Because JEM knows what her readers want. She knows we wouldn't want our Lord any other way! I laughed, I cried (like, snot pouring l, ugly crying) I found myself falling for The Lord of the Sex Manor all over again! Jack George had the perfect voice for Jesse, the perfect amount of gruff, but also softness. And as for the sultry scenes...I feel as if once you've read a few of these types of books, by any author, you've kind of read them all, in terms of the sex. I tend to zone out or skim these sections, because I'm really more interested in the story, but SHIT! I had to have a few rows with my personal Adonis after listening to Jack George read them! I know I will revisit this series for many, many years to come! And as a very big fan of all JEM books, CAN WE GET A KATE AND SAM STORY?!

Love this story so much. Picked up from the original trilogy effortlessly with flashbacks to refresh your memory. Jesse’s voice was...wow, perfect, amazing. Totally brought this story to life. I could listen to this book on repeat forever. End of!

Jack George voice as Jessie sucks.

Jack George performance sucked, I prefer the person who was the original voice for Jesse for the last three audiobook. On the other hand the Story is amazing.

I would do anything...With This Man!

Finally I am Team Lord of the Manor!

I've had such a struggle to fall completely at Jesse Wards feet until this book. With This Man gives more insight into Jesse's head and heart.

Jesse Ward is shattered by the events in this book. I'm not sure if it's his break that shows me he's more human than robot or his fight to keep his life. But Jesse Ward finally has my vote!

This book will twist you and hurt you. It will make your heart squeeze and your lungs seize. I was balling in a particularly "bloody" scene. No matter what you felt for Mr. Ward at the beginning of this book, you can't help but be firmly entrenched on Central Jesse Cloud Nine!

I enjoyed Edita's work on all the This Man books and was honestly slightly confused that someone else was doing Jesse's voice in this book. It completely makes sense as it is his words and thoughts. But it took some getting used to and now, I can't imagine Jesse any other way. Both narrators did an amazing job!
