Love, Love, Love!!!!!

Nicholas Sparks is an amazing storyteller! I rarely write a review but I have to say that this is an amazing love story. The performance with each character was amazing and when put together kept me wanting to listen even when I should have been doing other things. Now I am thinking that I want to see the places described in the book!!!!

Good story...but...

Loved the story line, but the female narrator almost ruined it for me. At times she would try to use a southern accent, and then the next minute she was talking regular. The male character narrator was really good. Really liked the parts Nicholas Sparks did. Not my favorite, but I did really like the story line. Worth the credit.

WOW! So much like my life...

Mr. Sparks, I would like to tell you that this book touched me. As I too had a love missed from over 15 years with a guy I went to high school with. He was my best friend in high school. He joined the Navy and got married. I married right after high school. We kept in touch through the years. He divorced after 16 years and I divorced after 23 years. We got back together for a wonderful year but life got in the way. 13 years we found each other again. We are getting married and we are happier than ever. Thank you for writing a great touching story about love, loss and the open heart.

Wonderful story

Gives you the idea that you're never too late or too old for love. Real love, no matter what will grow with time.. There is hope that maybe the one you let get away or maybe one you haven't discovered yet, has yet to be discovered. LOVE, a magical and painful thing all in one.
