Publisher's Summary

London Danvers was kidnapped as a child from her wealthy family. Over the years, many women have claimed to be her, trying to lay claim to the long-lost heiress's inheritance. Among them is Adria Nash, who has arrived in Oregon claiming to be London - but, unlike the others, she's different: she knows personal details only London could have known. And there is someone who does believe her - who is watching her every move, waiting to see how she runs, how she screams, and how she dies....

Surprised and Disappointed

I have enjoyed Lisa Jackson's books in the past and have looked forward to her new releases. So, I was surprised at my disappointment with this book. Not only did I discover that this was really not a new book, but, a re-release of a much earlier book. I found I didn't like any of the characters very much and by the last page just wanted the book to end. It certainly was not up to her usual standards.

Reader horrible

This book was very disappointing. I’ve read all her books and this one was nothing like the others. If I didn’t know better I would have said she didn’t write it

Ugh! Where is the suspense?

The mystery and suspense is non existent. I hate not finishing a book, but I couldn't even muster up enough interest to finish this one. The premise is weak, the dialogue is corny, and the reader made it even worse. It was just cringe worthy.

just a little creepy

I think maybe the overall premise of the book could have been great but I just kept getting drawn back into the fact that they could be brother and sister and it grossed me out to say the least. Very hard subject to get right.

Disappointing

Just the thought of them being related and are attracted to each other is hard to ignore ,,
It was a 17 hour book , it just dragged on ,, I ended up skipping about 10 hours of it to just hear the ending . I love Lisa Jackson’s books and this is the first one I didn’t like !!

Unbelievable

I just could not suspend common sense any longer to finish this book so I fast forwarded to the end so that I can write this review. In this day and age of modern technology why would you spend so much Time arguing back-and-forth when all they had to do was do a DNA test????Did I miss something????

Way too much adolescent romance

I have fast forwarded through most of this audiobook. It’s hard to find the story line under all the adolescent drivel. This is a ripped bodice novel, not a suspense novel.

Disappointed

I have been a long time fan of Lisa Jackson but this story was disappointing to me. I was looking forward to a nice mystery/thriller and instead got a trite overly sexual romance... the chapters could have been cut down by a third if she had avoided the extreme repetitive explanations of the characters feelings and situations. The characters spent most of their time drinking, smoking and lusting after each other. The mysterious unknown parts were NO surprise at all! Ho hum...
