The narrator was annoying, unsure about the book.

I couldn't get past the first chapter. The narrator annoyed me. I put 4 for the book because I don't want to unintentionally lower the books score since I couldn't listen to the narrator.

you feel like it's going somewhere the whole time.

but it doesn't, 17 hours is a long time to not wrap it up. it was entertaining enough, but end abruptly with no real closure.

Great book!

I enjoyed this book a lot. I couldn’t stop listening to it. Very well written. Love the cliffhanger bc it just means I get to hear another one. Highly recommend this if you like a good mystery and suspense thriller.

Left to Die by Lisa Jackson Alvarez & Pescoli Book

This book was great at keeping me engaged with the story of new cop partners Selena Alvarez & Regan Pescoli. They have a serial killer at work, who shoots out tires, gets the female driver out, nurses them back to health, then strips them naked and ties them to a tree to freeze to death. I was very engaged in this story. I listened to the audio book narrated by Natalie Ross. She did an excellent job with the voices. This is 5 stars.

Good but found all the sexual details unnecessary and just weird. It would be better without it.

LEFT TO DIE

Lisa Jackson is an incredible author. This is the 1st book in the Regan Pescili and Selena Alvarez series and I can't wait to start book # 2.

very long, multiple stories

I struggled to finish it due to multiple stories interwoven.
..better voice performance may have helped with very long stoies....which left me hanging with main story line.

Horrible Narrator

I couldn’t get thru the first three chapters without falling asleep. Could’ve been a good story otherwise.

A GOOD STAND ALONE

Overall score of 3 only because of the 2nd book.
This would be an awesome stand alone if the 2nd installment was consistent with this one. This should have been the only book in this plot line. I felt like there were jumps in the story that made you want to read it again to make sure you did not miss anything.

Other than that, I wish i could give this book a 5 star overall but I can not. The story is not complete and the completion of the story is not consistent to what happens in the first book. I know it is weird to rate a first book this way because of the 2nd but since it is the same story I just can't rate it a full 5 stars.
The Story only got 4 stars because some of it did not make sense, even in a fantasy world.
