Could have been better

I would have given the story four stars but she had too much stupid sex talk. If I wanted that I would read romance. I want a good murder mystery.

The narrator was good story was okay I guess small town in Montana women keep getting into vehicle wrecks the person who saves them from dying in the wreck ends up nurturing the back to health and then tying into a tree naked and watching them die of hypothermia it wasn't that enjoyable but I can't be left hanging and that is exactly how she wrote it where You Don't Know How It Ends until you read the next book which I absolutely hate but here we are so I will be reading next book too unfortunately

Terrible Ending; not that I’d call it one!

Even when writing a series you must finish the book you’re on. This was the worst from Lisa Jackson whom I’ve come to expect much better. Do not waste your credits.

More like a romance novel

The sex obsessed “victim” of a traumatic experience completely detracted from what could have been an very good story. I was compelled to fast forward past the overly graphic sex fantasies which seemed to become the actual reason for the book. Lisa Jackson obviously feels that sex sells but this was ridiculously overplayed. This was my first and last purchase from this author.

Ok story, all the graphic sexual content was not necessary. Lots of unresolved issues remained at the end. Would not recommend.

“Or was it?”

The story was ok. Predictable. Narrator sounded like an extreme soap opera character. It was so distracting. The story itself was cheesy. Killer’s monologue often ended in “or was it”. Don’t recommend

This is not a stand alone book.

I should have been informed that this is only part one! The book was ridiculous and boring and repetitive. Don't waste your time or money!

A lot of build up for a let down at the end. Hard to follow what was going on at times.

Great book!

I enjoyed this book a lot. I couldn’t stop listening to it. Very well written. Love the cliffhanger bc it just means I get to hear another one. Highly recommend this if you like a good mystery and suspense thriller.

I hate the narration and couldn’t make it past the 6th chapter. It doesn’t help that the characters are awful and the kids are worse.
