One Last Breath

This could have been a good story but the same information was repeated over and over until it was monotonous. Lots of filler. The narration could have been better as well.

So disappointed.......

I actually had to skip half the book to get to the end and didn’t care about what I missed. The story is ridiculously long and the characters’ inner turmoil way overblown. Rory is an annoying, hand wringing, self-centered “heroine” whom I just wanted to slap. It took 15 hours to get to the climax and then - done in 3 minutes. Epic fail because the authors crammed 6 hours of story into a 15 hour narration. First time I felt this way about a book by this author.

rambling a bit and poor narration.

How in the world can you hire a narrator who cannot pronounce local landmarks. Willamette especially, but even arbor vitea and chaise lounge! so annoying it distracted from the story. also, a few inconsistencies plus rehashing and rehashing the same theory.

Keep Looking!

If you are searching for a good audio book I suggest you bypass this one. The storyline was good, but it just kept going on and on. You knew what was going to happen next, but it took 20 chapters to get there. This one is not worth your time and money.

Excellent

I’m glad I did not go by the negative reviews. This book was worth the credit and then some. Well written, keeps you wanting and eager to know more, hating that it’s ending. Loved the narration too. Give it a try you won’t regret it.

Tested my patience

Overall I enjoyed the story, but there were times when I felt like I had tuned in to a bad soap opera. Felt like they talked a subject to death, and that Liam ought to grow a pair and stand up to his dysfunctional family. The story could have wrapped up a couple of chapters earlier. But I like Lisa Jackson and will buy more of her titles.
