A Sweet Clean Romance

I received this book for free in exchange for an honest review.

This is a sweet clean romance. Chloe is a bridal designer who meets Luke when she decides to participate in a charity auction. Luke's job assignment from his boss is to stop her from participating but he doesn't know why. This story takes place in the small town of Lilac. There is a nice mix of romance and intrigue into family histories which kept my attention. Both the main characters -- Luke and Chloe -- are very likeable. I really enjoyed it.

The narrator, Stephanie Dillard, did a really nice job narrating the story and with the character voices.

Hero is Luke. Heroine is Chloe

This story takes place in a small town .

Chloe is a wedding dress designer that dreams of her own wedding. She meets Luke there
Luke is a business man who meets Chloe in her small town . That is where they both have dreams but something stops them . They think they are total strangers but there are family secrets that will be revealed . Grab it and see does the wedding dress designer get to wear one of her dresses

Stephanie was great , her voice was smooth and did all the characters perfectly

Five Star Short Story

I got this story via audiobook boom and this is my voluntary review. This was a complex, well thought out love story that was clean and had two wonderful HEA included. This is a small town big city romance with a twist. It is worth the less than four hours it takes to listen and makes you feel good about life. The narration was very good and moved the story along.

A sweet romance in a small town.

Chloe is a bridal dress designer working in a small town. Luke is an executive from the big city, sent to prevent Chloe from participating in a celebrity bridal auction. Will Luke follow through on his assignment, or will he follow his heart?

Pamela Ferguson has written a lovely short romance with interesting characters. Stephanie Dillard did a great job with the narration.

Cute, sweet romance

This was a quick sweet romance. I enjoyed how the story progressed. There wasn't enough time to have much depth to the characters. Chloe was a young lady with a dream. She has compassion on those she meets and takes all the "word punches" that come her way. Luke is living life in the fast lane. When he met Chloe, he had to slow down and think about life again. I liked getting the backstory on both Luke and Chloe. The narrator did an excellent job on the book. Her voice kept me engaged in the story. I recommend to those that enjoy a sweet romance for an afternoon.

Short sweet romance

The narrator is great. I loved listening to her narate this book. The story moves quite quickly but I don't really mind this. I like books that are fast paced.
I will be looking at this authors other books.

LILAC IS WHERE IT HAPPENS

This is a great story about small-town life mixed with big city drama, and things are all knotted up for Chloe and Luke. There are a lot of obstacles to overcome, and a lot of sacrifices to be made if they can make it. I really enjoyed this one, loved the writing and narration, an excellent audiobook all around, really enjoyed it :)

Great short novella by Pamela Ferguson. It was nice to have a love story that wasn't typical with a great plot. The narration was spot on. She did a great job with the various character voices.

a wonderful story!

This was another great audio novella. It was so interesting, it actually felt longer than it was. The author did a wonderful job getting all the information in to a book of that length. I didn't feel like i was missing out at all. I hope we meet the characters again along the way. It takes a good author, to get a message across, and to deliver an enjoyable story in just under 3 hours or so of audio.

Well done.
