Publisher's Summary

Margaret Snow doesn't believe in fairy tales, but as a devoted mother she's determined to give her five-year-old daughter a Christmas filled with heart-warming memories. The once successful swimsuit model in glamorous LA returns to her small, snowy upstate New York town to buy back the foreclosed trailer she once called home. Her menagerie of rescue animals travel with her, including a deaf parrot and a kitten with one eye.

She doesn't expect to see her former high school sweetheart, the athletic, ever-popular, and decisive Fernando Brandt, nor his dwarf twin brother. Sparks fly when she realizes that the teenage hockey star is now a successful Realtor who is also interested in her dilapidated trailer for reasons of his own.

But can she resist the handsome, charismatic Prince Charming a second time? And can she surrender her insecurities and accept the true gift of Christmas, finally feeling worthy of unconditional love?

What is a Snowy White Christmas?

First of all I reviewed this book but for some reason it wasn’t posted, so I hope this one does.

The narrator was amazing, I loved how she changed her voice for the daughter. Her way of changing her voice really made the story come alive!

This was an amazing story and I enjoyed it very much. I highly recommend this book to everyone and I believe you will also. I loved listening to it.

This is a clean, delightful Christmas read

This story is about dreams gone wrong, choices, friendship, priorities, forgiveness and more. It also involves handicapped individuals with big hearts.
The story is well-written, slightly predictable but very uplifting. It tells of sacrifice, love, kindness, commitment, and goodness. However, it does have a couple of “Scrooges” and some mixed emotions and questionable choices.
All-in-all, its a very good story filling one’s heart with “Christmas Magic “!
The Narrator,Allyson Voller, read it well with emphasis in all the right places. Her male “voices “ left a lot to be desired and were slightly annoying. It put a slight damper on the listening experience. The audiobook was still very much worth listening to.

Good Narration but I Struggle With the Story

Cute little novella. I listened to the audio version of the story and thought that the narrator did a good job reading it even though I struggled with enjoying the ups and downs of the story.

There was a lot of angst between Margaret and Fernando and feelings that were confusing for me to follow. I guess a lot of Margaret's decisions didn't make sense to me throughout the novella and that bothered me as I listened. I was happy that Margaret and Fernando were able to find their happily-ever-after, though.

I received a complimentary copy of this book. All opinions are my own.

Play on Snow White

This is a sweet romance. The narrator does a good job. The story is a little abrupt. There are big issues between the main characters but they all work out in what looks like an easy manner. I enjoyed listening but felt a little let down by the fairytale ending when the issues were brushed aside. I guess it’s true that love conquers all ....at least in stories.

Sweet short story

I’m not a HUGE fan of books where there is a conflict that only a few words could clear up... ****SPOILER***
I also REALLY don’t like that she kept their daughter a secret. So unfair. Especially because he is apparently the most forgiving and kind man EVER! All that said this was an entertaining, sweet listen and I did like like! I’m glad it didn’t drag things on unnecessarily- really appreciate that!
There was implied sex multiple times, but nothing on the pages. So I’d still consider it a “clean read”.
I received this audiobook for free in exchange for an honest review.

Fun contemporary romance

This was a fun, short contemporary romance. I really enjoyed the story! Some would say it was somewhat predictable, but at the same time, I feel it gave you enough situations to think about that you weren't bored at all. And I loved the little bit of snow white fairy-tale jokes thrown in there.

The narrator did a good job! Her flow was very good. I did find that the recording itself had some extra background noise that made some editing cuts obvious, which was not annoying enough to stop me from listening to the book, but obviously I noticed it.

Overall, I really did enjoy this book! I would definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a clean, contemporary romance, especially during the Christmas season.

Pursuit of our HEA

Story growing up and forced to mature and what serious responsibilities you may be holding and the sacrifices. Finding strength in each other.
there were a couple of parts that kind of left me hanging. I thought that they would come back to it but never did.
