The new, "heart-stopping"* novel in the New York Times bestselling series that "defines urban fantasy."*

Mercenary Kate Daniels knows all too well that magic in post-Shift Atlanta is a dangerous business. But nothing she's faced could have prepared her for this....

Kate and the former Beast Lord Curran Lennart are finally making their relationship official. But there are some steep obstacles standing in the way of their walk to the altar....

Kate's father, Roland, has kidnapped the demigod Saiman and is slowly bleeding him dry in his never-ending bid for power. A Witch Oracle has predicted that if Kate marries the man she loves, Atlanta will burn and she will lose him forever. And the only person Kate can ask for help is long dead.

The odds are impossible. The future is grim. But Kate Daniels has never been one to play by the rules....

ALWAYS AMAZING...ALWAYS SATISFYING...

Where does Magic Binds rank among all the audiobooks you’ve listened to so far?

There are a few authors whose stories always draw me back over and over again. The stories of Kate Daniels ranks and ties with my number one books.

What was one of the most memorable moments of Magic Binds?

One of the most memorable moments of Magic Binds is the scene where Kate is sitting on the small porch overlooking Atlanta and having a beer with her father, Roland. They have a philosophical discussion about power and forcing change among the people. I think it is a pertinent scene in that it seems to relate to the events happening in our own nation and world today.

What about Renee Raudman’s performance did you like?

Renee Raudman's performance, in all of these stories, is simply amazing. I love the tone of her voice and how well she brings Kate and each of the characters to life. There are a lot of characters in this story and she easily transitions from one character to another. She is one of my favorite narrators.

If you were to make a film of this book, what would the tag line be?

I believe the entire series should be made into a film, or at least one of those movies that has at least 3 separate movies. There is so much detail that it would be an injustice to try and cut out any of it. I love the idea of using, "Magic Binds" as the tag line.

Any additional comments?

Ilona Andrews thank you for a phenomenal series. I am a fan of all of your work. As another fan wrote, "...it was a fitting end." Of course, the way you ended it allows for tangent series if you wish to do so.

LOVE THIS SERIES

I love this series!!!!! This story is mainly about Kate's self doubt concerning her magic and her motives. She is definitely a flawed hero but that is what makes her so human and likable. In this series I care about the characters not only the main ones but the side characters too. The struggle between Kate and her father heats up and she goes to extraordinary lengths to defend and protect family and friends. I could not stop listening and stayed up late to finish story. There are twists and turns in this story that I did not see coming and the ending will have your jaw dropping! Please, please, please hurry with the next book.

Danger All Around

Kate and Curran should be planning a wedding but of course things just keep getting in the way. This moves the story line forward. Solves some things, brings some surprises about characters, keeps the danger developing and the tension at a very high level. The reader does a really great job of the different voices. The voice matched what was happening in the story adding to the enjoyment of the story.

Ilona Andrews knocks it out of the park!

A fantastic story that fans have been waiting for--from Roman the crazy wedding planner to insane relatives and a LOTR type battle all combined. Kate learns things about herself that she may not like and were definitely unexpected but the usual ragtag crew is there to back her up. This story gets nicely tied at the end but there are just enough loose strings to have you waiting for the next book.
