A indepth dark story

What made the experience of listening to Homeland the most enjoyable?

It was a look inside drow society. It explains alot of how why and makes you understand the true depth of evil of the drow and of how couragiouse drizzit truly is to become the hero we know and love. If your new to R.A. salvator;s Drizzit then this is the first book of all of his adventures and sets the stage magnificently.

What about Victor Bevine’s performance did you like?

The voice acotr was awesome truly brought the story to life. He brought life to the charecters and did diffrent accents and was very easy to determine naration of differing charecters.

Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?

yes

Liked the book

This was an interesting and well written fantasy.
Maybe it's the feminist in me, but I really like a world where females are in control, even if their personalities rhyme with " witch".

The main character is male, of course, but he is well written, although he has the usual heroic attributes common to fantasy heroes.

All in all , a good read, and I am looking forward to the next book in the series.

Great story telling

I knew nothing about this author and his many books and at the beginning of the story thought that I was not going to be dawn in. But drawn in and riveted I was. What was there to care about in this dark and menacing world that was so alien to me? But as the tale unravelled quickly so did I start to care for Drizzit and Zak, hoping that they would prevail against intimidating odds. So I would definitely recommend this novel, it's a fast compelling ride.

Favorite book.

Personal favorite book of all time. Man vs world.
Salvatore shines best with the underdark and the dark elves.
If you love a story about self discipline and integrity against great odds, fantasy and dnd, you’ll love this book.

sound quality

It was occasionally too quiet to hear without adjusting the volume, but otherwise one of the better performances.
