These are the hidden powers of the ketogenic diet a lot of people leave out. Are you sick and tired of the most basic, standard keto guides you can find on the internet? Are you longing for something that gives you more information than what you would find on the first page of some random person’s blog? Then welcome to the book that takes it one step farther. You will indulge yourself with the information about sophisticated topics that take you to the world behind the ketogenic philosophy on nutrition. You will learn new things about what happens to our brains, our muscles, and our hormones when we choose to follow a ketogenic diet. Get ready to learn more about:

  • The fat whoosh effect and its magical fat-burning powers.
  • What to do with cheat days.
  • What to do with cycling carbohydrates, and what it means.
  • Neurological studies that have been done on the effect of ketones and fat-burning foods on one’s brain.
  • The definition and significance of GABA neurotransmitters.
  • Which effects the ketogenic diet can have on a woman who is going through the menopause.
  • Ketogenic mysteries about fibromyalgia and Alzheimer’s Disease.
  • Whether or not the ketogenic diet is possible if you don’t have a gallbladder.
  • Nutritional wisdom on keto rashes and fish oil effects.

These are the main topics we will discuss in this audiobook. I hope you are ready to be blown away and get more insights in yourself and others. This is a road not many travel, and a number of topics few mention, but they matter nonetheless.

Excellent book

The best books often get ignored. You can easily see that by looking at which ones rank on top. However, I encourage you to not ignore this one. It contains an hour and a half of some of the most important information about the ketogenic diet you'll eve listen to.

Excellent

I was surprised by how much I got out of this book. This is a great ketogenic diet book, and I think Lyle Ferguson and Martin Landry pulled it off as a wonderful team to get that information across. I didn't know what the fat whoosh effect was, for example, nor some of the other topics they touched on.

I was pleasantly surprised

First of all, I was pleasantly surprised at the job the narrator did. I think he mispronounced the word "ketosis" but aside from that, it was pretty perfect.
Secondly, I was surprised not everyone was positive about this book. I don't see anything wrong with it. Stupid complainers.
Thirdly, I was equally surprised how much I learned from this 90 minute short listen about the ketogenic diet. It's amazing what there is to discover, and how the writer put it together.

Really good

I loved this book because it had something else to say that just the basic ketogenic diet tips you find everywhere. It focused on some side factors you usually don't think about.
