Really Enjoyed!

I listened to the audiobook and really enjoyed this story. The narrator is one of my favorites and makes the story come to life. The characters were great and the story line was exciting. I couldn’t figure out there for a while what woman Jesse was going to pick. A good romance, with some suspense and a great faith thread going on too. Very interesting story. By the way I really liked Charlie and how she was strong but yet very soft inside. When things took a turn for the worse Charlie didn’t want to sit around and do nothing. But trouble follows so you will have to read or listen to the book to find out what happens. I recommend the audiobook because hearing it really enhanced the imagination.

Love and mystery in the old west.

What an enjoyable, intriguing book. An old wets story mixed with bad guys, horses, saloon girls, romance, etc., etc.
This is the first book in the series by Barbara Goss, the Bounty Hunters of Sunset Creek Ranch. This book had me hooked as soon as I started reading it. The characters are real and you get caught up in the lives they are living. Deception also plays a part in this book, which also portrays spiritual values and morals as well. It's fun to read about how the old west was and how the people lived with so few conveniences. Neighbors helped neighbors, and everyone watched out for each other. An excellent, clean read!!

Great book

another great book by Barb. you never know who will come into your life. the narration was wonderful as usual by Scott

Good story!

I truly enjoy this story! The characters were interesting, and I really enjoyed the journey. Great narration, as well. I recommend this book for a good, light-hearted reprieve!

Christian western romance

This was a good story. It was a fairly simple love story. I liked that their were several points of view in the story. It didn’t give away immediately who the ex-bounty was going to fall in love with. It was obvious both women had feelings for the man but one had ulterior motives in her pursuit of Jessie. I liked that it had Christian ideals but it was a little cheesy in the presentation of it for my taste. The story line was good. Kept me on my toes a bit.

Don't turn your back on love

I really enjoyed listening to this audiobook. The narrator was wonderful and brought the characters to life. Jesse has been a bounty hunter for many years and now that he has a farm he wants to give it up. He has some friends and the other bounty hunters that share in the farms inheritance. Suddenly he also has two women, Delia and Charlotte, taking interest in him. Do they want his farm and money or his heart. Can he trust his friends. There are a lot of questions, but no answers yet.

Great story

I enjoyed this story. The characters were well developed and very relatable. Sweet romance develops along with suspense and intrigue to keep you interested and guessing. I love how author Goss isn't afraid to let faith shine thru her writings and does so in a way that isn't preachy but is well meaning. Her wayward characters seem to find their way to or back to the Lord and I love that.

As usual, J. Scott Bennett did an outstanding job with the narrative.

This book was was fantastic! Barbara Goss writes great stories. J. Scott Bennett is a great narrator. I found this story interesting from the beginning!

liars and manipulators unite

I expected men to be evil and do wrongs in the old west, but the women were conniving , deceitful, selfish , manipulators too. Some changed for the better, but they were still manipulators. What happened to honesty and integrity?? The only one like that was Jesse and the dog, and Jesse lied for Roy! Smh. I was disappointed in the lack of character especially the women. I voluntarily listened to a free copy of this and am giving an honest review. The narrator did a great job bringing it to life.

Exciting story

This was a great western inspirational romance. It was so exciting that you couldn’t stop listening. The narration was excellent. I loved how the epilogue told of how their life continued on for years to come.
