Beginner to westerns? Look no further

This is my first real western book experience and it was hands down a great one. I wish I could see this as a movie.to think there are so many interesting stories to tell in the Wild West is beyond me. Well paced, well narrated, and engaging throughout, I was hesitant to purchase but it was well worth it. Not overly long as well. In fact I wish I could spend more time in this book and find out what else happens to flint. Only nitpick is that the change between character perspectives is not announced, it just happens sometimes so I got thrown off for a bit if I missed a switch. Other than that it’s great.

I really enjoyed this story

Quite different than most of his stories. Louis l’Amour is one of my favorite authors.

Excellent work

I’ve never read L’Amour before but always heard that it was great. What I had heard was true and it was even better. I will be reading more of them. Thanks for the excellent reading too!

Spoken so naturally that it's as if he is telling a story from memory. Excellent command of multiple voices.

I return of a long nearly forgotten friend

This was the first LL book I read and as a young 13 year old I fell in love and hated to leave the hard yet beautiful world every time I set the book down.
