A great story

Marissa had one tragedy after another. This book held my attention. J. Scott Bennett is one of my favorite narrators.
There was little bit of everything. Barbara Goss is one of my favorite authors.

Great Series Start

This was an awesome book. Can't wait to enjoy the rest of this series.

A Lovely Stoy

I really enjoyed this story. It has romance, a little suspense and intrigue, and the great ending. s/Sometimes you can put yourself in a character's place and the choices they had to make and think what would I do? I do just want Marissa did, there needs to be love.

J. Scott Bennett did a great job with narration. He is clear and easy to understand.

Very nice

This was a well written book. The story line was very nice and understand standing, and enjoyable. The characters were always polite, good Christian book. Will listen to it again. The narrative of the book was very professional and nice to listen to.
Barbara Goes is a very good writer which I have read and listened to several times.

Love and mischief

Marissa didn’t want to settle down. And if she ever changed her mind it would only be for love. So when she finds that her Aunt has died and left her an inheritance contingent on getting married she wants nothing to do with it. Yet she has three men Vying foe her attention. All three men hope to change her mind. But one of the men may have b the n the one to cause her Aunt’s death.

Sweet and Interesting

What a sweet, clean romance and an inspirational read. The characters and story are realistic and interesting, including some mystery and, of course, a bad guy. And I love the way it all ends!

The narrator has done a good job of bringing the characters and story to life.

Marissa I'd going to live with her aunt, but she dies before Marrisa arrives. Good clean romance.

Sweet, Inspirational Romance

Marissa meets 3 eligible men soon after arriving in her new town. Will she choose one of them or go back East?
This story kept me guessing. Very enjoyable inspirational romance. One I'll be listening to again.

Great story

I really enjoyed this sweet tale. There was just enough mystery and romance to keep me coming back every spare chance I had. The narrator was easy to listen to

Perfect starter to a new series!

This is a suspense filled romance with many twists and turns making the story one I couldn't put down.
Marissa finds herself struggling to make a decision about her future when she finds herself alone on her aunt's ranch without a clue on how to run it and having three men virtually throwing themselves at her certainly doesn't help matters.
It is beautifully written with scenes following each other in perfect harmony and drawing the reader deeper and deeper into this intriguing story.
Besides reading the book, I have also just finished listening to the audiobook narrated by J. Scott Bennett. He is just so amazing and brings so much to the story.
And so, I am most definitely recommending both this book and the audiobook!
