I love this series!

This is my third time listening to and or reading this series. It is very well written. The building of the characters and their relationships is great. I recommend this author to anyone who loves a good paranormal read. The Protectors series has a different take on vampires, which is always nice. The plot is great and carries over with each book but still gives you the HEA that everyone wants. This series also has some crossover to at least one other series Mrs. Gabelman has written. I know this is a review of the series , but it covers this book. Jeffrey Kafer is also a great storyteller. I love his voice.

Love this!

Loved this one! Tessa is so strong mot afraid. Jared was a jokster in the last book and he grew his serious bones in here. He really impressed me with bis kindness and patience to Adam and all other half breeds.

I enjoy seeing all the warriors interact and this is Sloans first appearance. I enjoy how all the characters stories are built upon in each book.

IT BLEW ME AWAY & LEFT ME WANTING MORE MORE MORE

I loved, loved, loved absolutely everything about this second instalment into The Protectors series about a group of very Alpha Vampire males and the trouble they find themselves caught up in. It reminds me of my absolute favorite vampire series..... J R Ward's Black Dagger Brotherhood, no it's not quite as good but it's still early days into this series. However, there's the same witty banter, the same 'brotherhood' feeling, the same 'they'll do anything to protect their mate' and, of course, they're all sexy, hunky and 'take no sh*t' Vampires.

This books starts where the last one left off.... Chad is being interrogated by The Protectors as they're sure he holds the answers to many of their who and why questions but the trouble is Damon just wants to rip his head off for endangering his mate Nicole (story in book 1). The trouble comes when bar worker Tessa, who would do anything for her brother who has been viciously turned into a half-breed against his will, along with many other teenagers, and they think Chad knows who did it. So they cleverly, efficiently and successfully storm the compound to steal Chad from under the very noses of the Warriors...... which annoys, intrigues, fascinates and amuses the Hell out of Jared, along with the red headed beauty who carried it out.

Various POV's all brilliantly done by the sexy deep voice of Jeffry Kafer who made the book come alive.

Worth a credit? Strong willed Heroine and a love-love-loveable charming Hero who had great chemistry between them and funny witty and sexy interactions, good secondary characters and an action-packed continuation of the storyline that has twists, surprises and heartwarming romantic scenes makes this a 'straight through' listen as I just couldn't stop listening. So creditworthy.... you bet!

Great plot twist

I really enjoyed the second book in the series, plot had me on the edge of my seat one minute to the next. Loved the focused character's personalities and the narrator was great!

I'M ADDICTED TO THIS SERIES

Two books into a series of 7 (+1 in the making) of The Protectors series & I am totally addicted. Teresa Gabelman hit a "home run" with this series. Jeffrey Kafer [the narrator] worked this book. I'm greedy in anticipation for the remainder of this series. I thought that Damien & Nicole's story was exciting but Jared & Tessa built on the series like a great musical piece and blew me away! The anticipation of book 3 [Duncan & Pam's story] is painful. I NEED to know what happens next! Yes, I could read all of the series now, but, as I said, Jeffrey Kafer really makes this series come to life even more than just reading it. So, I want to listen to it.

Each book builds on the previous one & includes the prior book's characters. I am totally invested. I loved the ending of book 2 and anticipate the others. All those characters have a story [just from what is written in the first 2] & it's killing me that I can't listen to them NOW. I am not good with waiting...the frustration is building

These are not teen or YA books, yet they aren't vulgar. It is a love story with the excitement of the Vampire Council Warrior's ongoing battle with the rogue half-breeds. There is betrayal from those least expected & help from others who were thought to be enemies. The books will keep the attention of people of all ages who love a good paranormal story.

There is sexual excitement/tension between the lovers & a good plot that keeps you attuned to each word said. These are the type of books that I have waited for. Thankfully, they didn't go overboard with the "50 Shades junk" & actually had a story to tell with enough sexual tension to keep it believable for a romance & paranormal book.

I NEED to know what is happening in all the other character's lives. Although, I got a HEA on Jared & Tessa there is danger surrounding some of the other characters that needs to be resolved.

I'm really loving these. Alpha Vamp Protectors and their stories! The bad guys are nasty enough that you want them gone....for good. But they make a compelling storyline!!! Can't wait for Duncan!!!❤

jared knew when she broke in to the building she was his, through trials and kidnappings their love grows . i loved their story!!!!
