Publisher's Summary

Veteran player Gage Heyward retired from the league following a successful career. Now the Titans need him, but does he have what it takes to get back on the ice and pull this team together?

After achieving the goals I set for myself, I walked away from my professional hockey career. It was a tough decision, but the right one at the time. When the Titans organization approached me about joining the team they were rebuilding following a devastating plane crash, I felt a passion for the game and a competitive spirit I hadn’t felt in years. The opportunity to make a huge difference to a lot of people spoke to me, and I accepted their offer and headed to Pittsburgh without a second thought.

Jenna Holland is also new to town, having moved from Phoenix to Pittsburgh to take a job with the Titans. Her past has left her with scars—both physical and emotional—and she’s slow to trust others. But the more I learn about Jenna, the more I want to know. The more I need to know. Because the beautiful blonde with honey gold eyes and a wall around her heart has me enamored.

My game on the ice is the best it’s ever been, but it’s my game off the ice I’m focused on these days. Because while Jenna may not be willing to take a chance, I know the potential is there for something big. Something life-changing. Now I just need to convince her to take the shot.

Loved loved loved

I absolutely loved Gages story. It was refreshing have imperfect and tea jars tees and reading through al their feelings. The author did an amazing job with her backstory and moving through all the steps with her scars and her Personal growth to get there.

Also so delightful with the appearance of characters from prior books and I can’t wait to read more about the other team members.

The narrators had the most perfect voices and delivered real characters and brought the perfect amount of life into them to make them even more real in my mind.

Fantastic addition to this new series!!

Amazing story brought to life with the narrating skills of Virginia and Lance. I absolutely loved it. These characters, Gage and Jenna were meant to be!! I loved their story and how Gage was able to bring Jenna out of her shell she was kind of hiding in due to her scars. Brianne helped too. I hope she gets a story in this series too. Can’t wait for more of the Pittsburgh Titans.

Gage

I have one problem with this book: Gage might just be too perfect :)

Swoony to the max Gage seriously brings everything you could ever want in a book boyfriend. So perfect for Jenna, who has a story that just grips your heart and doesn't let go. This whole story was so full of deep, wonderful emotions that you find yourself laughing, crying, and cheering right along with the characters. I can't wait to see what Sawyer has up her sleeve for the rest of this series!

Beautiful Story!

This is the third book in the Pittsburgh Titans Series, a spin-off of the Arizona Vengeance series. I loved Gage and Jenna's story. Their story is beautifully written, heartwarming, and filled with drama, and romance. Gage is very handsome, caring, and protective. Jenna is so strong and beautiful. They are perfect together. Lance Greenfield and Virginia Rose did an amazing job with the narration. I enjoyed it. Looking forward to listening to Coen, the next book in the series. I highly recommend this series!

The hottest retiree

Gage is the latest installment of the Pittsburgh Titans series by Sawyer Bennett. The premise of the series is a plane crash that impacts an entire hockey team, and the rebuilding of that team.
Gage came out of retirement to help his team after the tragedy. Jenna we met earlier in the series, and she was in a horrific fire and her body carries the scars of that battle. Honestly, if you’ve ever had a serious burn you understand just how painful they are. I could never image being burned over large areas, and the painful recovery that it would be necessary.
This is a low angst and low drama edition to the series, and it’s a welcome breather in the series. We watch the relationship between Gage and Jenna develop, and it’s a hot and steamy ride.
The story line and character development was written, and I am enjoying this new series that has more depth that Sawyer Bennett’s other Hockey series.
Lance Greenfield and Virginia Rose are top notch narrators, and both give a wonderful performance. When it comes to an audio book, excellent narrators are everything.

The perfect couple...Gage & Jenna

Gage is the true definition of a gentleman; he's compassionate, somewhat protective and loyal to those he cares about, This is just the kind of man Jenna needs. After suffering horrific burns to her back, butt and legs and hiding her scars behind scarfs and turtle necks, Gage sees her real strength and encourages her let her true self show. Not only is Gage there for Jenna, he's also there for his teammates as they try to rebuild after the devastating plane crash.

The third story in the Pittsburgh Titans series. It's a wonderful story!

Swoontastic

Sawyer Bennett once again wrote a romance that brought all the emotion and heart to her story. It was low angst filled with loads of swoony romance. I mean every woman needs a Gage in their life to encourage and hold you up. Jenna was a strong woman that went through something so tragic but over come her fears and came out with a spectacular happily ever after in the end.

Lance Greenfield and Virginia Rose made you feel the connection Gage and Jenna had. They made reading more enjoyable making you feel all the emotions. Virginia made you feel the insecurities Jenna had and Lance gave Gage that swoon to make you fall even harder.

This was a great book that captivated me with low angst and drama for a smooth enjoyable listen.

Low angst and drama... LOVED IT!!

I was so happy to listen to Gage’s story. I didn’t know much about Gage from the previous books but definitely got to know him in this story. Gage is all type of swoony. He’s one of the most honest and up-front characters that I have read from Sawyer Bennett. Jenna is a bit on the timid side after surviving a horrific fire where she nearly died. Instead, she was left with mental and physical scars. I enjoy the way Jenna grows and really finds herself during this story. Gage is super protective over Jenna.

I really enjoyed how low angst and drama this story was. Yes, there was some issues but these two worked through them like mature adults. I was really there for all of that. There was more drama with the hockey team than there was with the relationship. I’m really, like insanely, curious about Coen and his situation. Gage’s story has a bit of Coen in it and it effectively has me intrigued. The narrators, Lance Greenfield and Virginia Rose, are amazing together. They really bought this story to life and gave the characters a literal voice, as well as a figurative voice. Greenfield really played on Gage’s strength and captured him beautifully. Rose really encompassed Jenna’s character. She pulls on Jenna’s insecurities and exhibits her strength perfectly.

Mr Charming wins the day

This series is about healing after the tragic loss of the Pittsburgh Titans in a plane crash. The team is finding its way together with new players and coaches and management. This is Gage and Jenna's story and it is so sweet.

Jenna has scars, not only physical ones but emotional ones as well and when the extremely hot and talented hockey player pays attention to her she can't believe he would be interested in someone like her. Gage sees Jenna, not the scars she has to endure but the person and he likes what he sees. He finds her beautiful and now he just has to get her to see what he does.

I really enjoyed this book and love how protective Gage is with Jenna and how Jenna finally learns to live again. Great side characters as well as we continue with the players and their girls as the series continues.

Lance Greenfield and Virginia Rose were so good to listen to. I loved it and recommend this book. It is part of an ongoing series but can be listened to alone.

Totally in love with this series!

Gage. The perfect book boyfriend! Sawyer Bennett has stolen my heart with this one. Gage has come out of retirement to help rebuild the Titans and is doing his best to be a good role model for the others. Jenna has come to Pittsburgh to start a new career in the media section of team and has caught Gage's attention. And our story begins. Gage is romantic and patient, attentive and loving. Jenna has some confidence issues, and Gage makes her shine. But the story is much more than just the romance of Jenna and Gage. We get a look inside the team as it begins to gel. Players reactions, issues of survivor's guilt come clear, and some self destruction looks like it may be on the horizon. I am loving the direction this series is taking. It is dealing with relevant issues with compassion, and keeps the romance flowing. The team feeling continues as we have crossover characters and leaves us feeling like we are part of it all. It's fabulous.

Narrated by Lance Greenfield and Virginia Rose, we are treated to narrators who know how to bring a story to life. Greenfield is Gage, bringing out all the warmth and protectiveness he has. He also carries that through as a leader to the team, creating a man to look up to. Rose plays Jenna with the perfect amount of hesitancy and fear and lets us feel her turn into the butterfly she is. The inflections in her voice show the changes in her and it's amazing to hear. This team always is great together and they gave an outstanding performance.

I really loved seeing Gage and Jenna's relationship unfold. They both have pasts to overcome to be fully with each other. Gage never gives up. This one was on the emotional side (the whole series is). I enjoyed it.

Loved the narrations by Lance Greenfield and Virginia Rose.
