Publisher's summary

Detective Matthew Bennett doesn't believe in ghosts. So when the spirit of a murdered child leads him to her body, he's shaken to the core - and taken off the case. Unable to explain his vision, or to let go of the investigation, Matthew turns to renowned medium Kiernan Fitzpatrick. Though he has doubts about Kiernan's claims to communicate with the dead, Matt is nevertheless drawn to the handsome psychic, who awakens feelings he thought were long-buried.

Haunted by the lingering spirit of the little girl, Kiernan is compelled to aid in the search for her killer. The chance to get closer to the enigmatic Matt is an unexpected bonus. Although Kiernan's been betrayed by people who turned out to be more interested in his fame than in himself, with Matt he's willing to risk his heart. As the two men grow closer, Kiernan helps Matt rediscover that life offers no guarantees - but love offers a reason to believe....

I am a believer

I loved it, from start to finish.
Awesome story line.
A very good combination of paranormal mystery with a little romance.

Great story, great characters!

There isn’t anything I didn’t love about this book. Matt and Kieran were fantastic, and their relationship was more than just cookie cutter. The secondary characters added a lot to the story, and there was actually a story! Don’t get me wrong, the romance was awesome. But there was a terrible crime to solve, and the suspense at times really kept me on edge. There were also times that were so sad they brought tears. Great humor, too!

I can’t forget the narration! Excellent job by Jack LaFleur! Great book, Diana Copland!

I liked this book a lot and couldn't help falling in live with the male characters from the very beginning.

All-around Great

Where does A Reason to Believe rank among all the audiobooks you’ve listened to so far?

Among the best!

What other book might you compare A Reason to Believe to and why?

I do not compare one novel with another. If the writing isn't unique, it isn't a great read, in my book.

Have you listened to any of Jack LeFleur’s other performances before? How does this one compare?

Jack LeFleur has a fabulous voice, and his oral interpretation is among the best. I think I'm in love.

If you could rename A Reason to Believe, what would you call it?

The title is the author's call, not mine, and I would not even attempt to second-guess the author.

Any additional comments?

This one kept me listening from beginning to end. Then I read it a second time.

Great!

I can't believe I haven't left a review the first three times I listened to this book. I love Kiernan and Matt. I would love to see them solving crimes in future stories. Ms. Copeland did a wonderful job describing the scenes with Abby.
Jack LeFleur's narration was excellent. He gave each character a distinctive voice and subtle Irish accents for Kiernan and Aiden.

Great story, fantastic narrator!

Seems ripe for a sequel, Ms. Copland. And, Mr. Lefleur, you can read to me anywhere, any place, anytime! Great job!

Loved it!

At first I was not sure if I would like the book. Then I got sucked in and didn't want to put it down. I try not to ruin the plot for those who have not read the book yet. In saying that I will tell you that the narrator makes the book! He uses accents and falsetto voices. Yes I truly recommend this book to you.

My 1st Diana Copeland.

I really like this. The story was good, the characters likable and it was just steamy enough.
* I put the narration at 1.2 and it was so much better!!!!

Amazing and riveting story

A brash detective and a captivating medium make for very strange bedfellows but Ms. Copeland does an extraordinary job with her writing that I was glued to my earphones! And since I really haven't had much experience listening rather than reading I was more than pleasantly surprised by the sizzling narration of Jack LeFleur ! This story and Mr. LeFleur will keep you guessing and grinding your teeth through out the mystery!! Loved it!!
