That's not what I want, but riding herd on a group of beings who fly, breathe fire, and could literally crush me beneath their feet would be a huge challenge.

i was so excited to see a continuation of this world. and excited to see Percy find love! excellent achingly cute book and Joel Leslie did a perfect job narrating as always.

Love this reading

I've like this series for a while; the addition of all the accents fits the story perfectly. I highly recommend this engaging story.

We finally got Percy's story. And, man, does he deserve an HEA after everything he did. In this book, we get to see Percy let down his hair a bit and be less serious without the mantle of the Lucifer hanging over his head. It's been a few years since the events of the Hidden Species. The elves and dragons have settled on Earth. And we get to see the chaos and shenanigans that ensue. This story was just as fun as the previous books in this universe. I found any interaction with the dragons to be hilarious. They really took the dramatics of the hellhounds up a notch. Also, I loved the Tea Trials. That was a nice little treat in the story. Overall, Percy and Brandt's story is quite enjoyable and very entertaining. I had so much fun. This series has some drama in the background, but it doesn't take itself too seriously, and that's what I was in the mood for.

I absolutely adore everything by Louisa and Joel Leslie is amazing as always. a definite must buy. Percy's story is funny and cute and hot as well.

Percy's dragon

Omg, I loved this book. It was such a breath of fresh air. After the intenseness of the previous series, it was nice to have a light hearted read. Brandt & Percy are perfect for each other. They balance each other. The dragons all connecting with Percy was so sweet. I can't wait for the other books in this series.

This story had me laughing from the very start! Warm and hilarious characters told perfectly by the narrator Joel Leslie. I love this book.

📖 Story comment: The characters are entertaining, the plot was "sweet and fluffy" with a good pace.
What I call an easy listen ... nothing too complicated so could listen while doing something without losing track of the story.
I enjoyed Percy and Brandt's story. It felt lighter than the Hidden Species Series and I hope this series stays along those lines. Brandt's "family" of dragons are a hoot and I look forward to more of their stories.

🎧 Narrator comment: Joel Leslie is a master voice actor and suits the personalities of these characters. He has good timing, cadence, inflections and intonations, he's kept the consistency of characters voices throughout the multiple series so it's easy to distinguish all the characters from each other and he's done a stellar performance bringing this book to life.

I adored this book so much. it just made me happy the whole time and Joel Leslie's narration was superb. perfect pallet cleanser

Louisa Masters does it again!

A great start to a new spin off series! I don’t think it’s necessary to have read the Hidden Species novels, though if you do, you obviously have more background to what has happened with world building and characters. Two pages in, I was laughing so hard I was worried I was going to choke on my dinner. An awesome book, with sexy snarky characters.

Joel Leslie, as always, is amazing!
