She Can Run
Ballet dancer Tommie Purnell has finally left her troubles behind her. After a devastating scandal derails her dancing career in New York, she flees to Houston for a fresh start. Once her new dance studio takes off, the rest of Tommie's life follows suit. But when a local woman connected to Tommie turns up dead, Tommie is petrified...and doesn't know where to turn.
But She Can't Hide
When veteran homicide detective Paulo Sanchez walks through her door, Tommie wonders if her troubles have just doubled. She and Paulo had a torrid attraction years ago. . .but she's sworn off men because of too many broken dreams. Yet their sizzling attraction can't be denied, and as their passion intensifies, the killer's body count also rises. That's when all clues point toward the one person Tommie thought she could finally believe in....

What did you love best about Like No One Else?
I think that I like thed Paulo (Main male character) was not a perfect guy. It goes with the ending where the author talks about redemption. Not only his redemption but also that of Johnnys. How would you have changed the story to make it more enjoyable?
I would have had Paulo and Johnny experience more together. They reconnecteded, fell in love and got engaged in a matter of a week pretty much from spending time at each others homes. I just wish there was more substance in their relationship to make their love more real.Which character – as performed by Christy Clark – was your favorite?
Paulo was definetly my favorite. She sounded masculine, smooth and sensual with a thick accent.. It was very believable.Did you have an extreme reaction to this book? Did it make you laugh or cry?
Not really. I must say Zane had parts and jokes that did make me laugh. And some of the endearing thoughts between Paulo and Johnny did put a smile on my face. It's not who you expect...

If you could sum up Like No One Else in three words, what would they be?
Amazing Romantic SuspensefulWhat other book might you compare Like No One Else to and why?
At this time I can't think of anything that compares in this genre.Which character – as performed by Christy Clark – was your favorite?
Paulo Sanchez. I loved his bravado, his realness, & his willingness to love & accept Tommie for who she was.Did you have an extreme reaction to this book? Did it make you laugh or cry?
No. I didn't laugh out loud or cry at any point. However, I did gasp a few times here & there.Any additional comments?
I enjoyed this book thoroughly, because no matter which way it turned I did not suspect the killer to be who it was. Throughout the entire book I kept saying, I bet it was him, no it was him, no it was him. By the time the story reached the end, I was like NO ITS HIM & I couldn't believe it. I never suspected him. GREAT READ/LISTEN!Simply Amazing
