Publisher's Summary

From New York Times and USA Today best-selling author Thea Harrison… This book contains "Dragos Takes a Holiday", "Pia Saves the Day", and "Peanut Goes to School" (two novellas and a short story in the Elder Races series, previously published separately). All three stories focus on the Cuelebres, the First Family of the Wyr. "Dragos Takes a Holiday": When the Cuelebre family heads to Bermuda for some much needed R&R, it’s no ordinary weekend in the sun. Between Pirates, treasure hunting, and a baby dragon…what could possibly go wrong? "Pia Saves the Day": The Cuelebres have moved to upstate New York where they finally have the space to indulge their Wyr side, and Liam can grow in safety. Their idyllic situation is shattered when Dragos is injured and stripped of his memory. Without Pia’s taming influence, there’s nothing holding back Dragos’s darkest side. "Peanut Goes to School": Dragos Cuelebre is no longer the only dragon. At just six months of age, Liam has already grown to the size of a large five-year-old boy. In an effort to give him a taste of normality, his parents enroll him in first grade. But school has a surprising number of pitfalls, and Liam is fast becoming one of the most dangerous creatures in all of the Elder Races.

Something was missing but still 3 good listens . .

Sophie Eastlake has returned to give her enchantment to the Cuelebre family. She has brought back the same vocals that have grounded a connection to the Elder Races series fan.

Amazing to have them all together and it unifies the family to the next step for Drago and Pia and the wry nation.

Dragos Takes a Holiday - Loved it. The family takes a vacation but its not all fun in the sun.

Pia Saves the Day - Things take a turn and Pia will be the only one to save what will be left after the devastation stops.

Peanut Goes to School - Liam had a lot to learn and learned quite quickly. I loved seeing the way he processed and the added glimpses of who he viewed his parents and their love for each other and himself.

Loved this!

Fair warning though: Pia saves the day is by far the saddest book in the entire elder races series. Loved the first and third stories though! Go Peanut!

Oh what fun!

Well, "Pia Saves the Day" made me cry, but I laughed a lot too!! I guess these are OK as stand alone stories but they are much more enjoyable if you understand the backstory. I am going to enjoy listening to them several more times. Excellent narration as well, of course.
