Too captivating to turn off!

This book is amazing, once again the narrators did fabulous work bringing the book to life. And the story did not disappoint! Mysteries from the first book are answered and new ones are added. Sara Samuels planned these books expertly, she kept surprising me and making it impossible to stop listening. I listened to this book in 3 days it was so good. 

Absolute Fire!

I am in love with this series. This book is full of twists and turns that keep you on the edge of your seat and leaves you craving more.
Sarah and Liam are amazing narrators and they really bring these characters to life in the best way.

10/10 plot

This plot is STRONG. I enjoy this authors work and am so excited this is a long series! These narrators are great and I hope they narrate the rest.

5 time traveling stars

This concept of time traveling is a new one to me but it is an enjoyable one. I love this authors take on the time traveling and the many journeys we get to go on in one story.

AMAZING!

Love it!! Edge of your seat story again! So many twists and turns !! Can not WAIT to listen to book 3!!Must add that Sarah and Liam have done it again! What an amazing duo to listen to!!

Great storytelling

This author blew me away with the first book in this series and keeps doing it. We pick up right where we left off in the first book with Olivia and Roman time traveling and bringing along the not so nice Marcelius. Marcelius did have much character growth during this book but now I'm not sure how much we will see of him. I loved seeing Olivia and Emilys relationship start and grow I think it is important for powerful FMCs to have a best friend and not just a love interest to fight alongside them. Overall amazing read and listen. The narrators knocked it out of the park again.

Excellent continuation

I am relieved book two was just as good as book 1! Like big deep breath relieved! and im excited for book 3 now. I have read boooks in the past where this isnt the case. The plot got even thicker and twistier and I am not happy with that cliffhanger lol but i will survive lets just hope the characters make it out of this twisty plot. I really love the detail and research you can feel went into this book from the author. There is alot of history in this book that is handled delicately and perfectly woven into the book and plot.

Even better than the first

This book was the perfect addition to the series. Book 1 was good but this one is GREAT, the author truly outdid herself and I know im being greedy wanting book 3 already but i can only imagine how good it is going to get! In the beginning I was nervous Roman and Olivia would be separated forever but of course their love conquers and they find each other. I was surprised to see Marcelious becoming good and maybe being on his way to his own happy ending. But then that cliffhanger happened and ahhhhh its just such a good story! The narrators did great again, and I am glad the same ones are doing it because now I have their voices attached to the characters in my head.

Just as good as book 1

I love when a series gets better as it goes. The author, the characters, and narrators all made this story come to life. I enjoyed the plot twist with the M guy I cant spell his name but youll know who I am talking about. I did not see him falling in love coming and I am still unsure if its all a plan to trick everyone or if he is actually good now. We shall have to wait and see. As for everyone else Olivia is still a badass but I am starting to feel tired for her lol home girl has been through A LOT she just needs a break. I need the darkness to take a day off.

What an emotional rollercoaster!

Like book one, I purchased the audiobook and listened through Audible. The narrators were the same and they did a fantastic job once again.
This book picks up right where book one left off. The blurb does a great job showing what the book is about, and I don't want to add to it for fear of spoilers, but here are some highlights:
-Olivia and Roman do not appear together when she ports them all back, which means Oliva is a woman without a man in 1812.
-The war of 1812 is going on, and they are in the middle of it.
-We get introduced to a new character, who we fall in love with instantly. We are going to become very invested in this new character's life and happiness, and so is Oliva.
-We know that Balthazar is on the hunt for all Timebornes, including them. The stuff that he does to them might require a couple trigger warnings, especially near the end.
-The spice is just as spicy, and there is PLENTY of it.
-We learn more about Roman and Marcellus's past, and secrets they've been keeping.

If you loved the first book, you will love the second book. This author has a forever reader/listener with me! I cannot wait for book three!!!!
