Loved it! Ready for the next book!
This book was the perfect mix for me! I am a lover of fantasy (especially fantasy romance) AND a biology nerd. Botany and Zoology are my favorite subjects. I loved all of the characters, and this book helped out my book slump I was in after finishing TOG, ACOTAR, Fourth Wing and the Ravenhood series.
I did internally squirm when they called the snakes poisonous instead of venomous, but they corrected it later in the chapter.
I did not see that plot twist coming. I have not been that surprised by a plot twist since Perfect Strangers by J.T. Geissinger.
I am ready for the next book!
