Another good read!

Susan Stoker is one of my favorite authors and her books are an automatic download for me. She never disappoints with such rich characters and engrossing stories. Wish I could give more than 5 stars!

Ace security goes for the gusto

Alexis and Blake have worked together for a while at the Anderson brothers security firm. It isn't until they are working on a more serious case that Blake opens his eyes to the woman in front of him. Susan Stoker's second book in this series continues to deliver on the action, suspense and holy alpha hotness of the Anderson boys and the women they claim as their own. Erin Bennett breathes life into these characters.

Love this series

The Anderson brothers have it going on. The women in this series are strong independent woman who love fiercely trust them and are rewarded with all the love they deserve.

The dangers are realistic and narration is great.

Good series

I enjoyed the audio of Blake and Alexis relationship. She has grown from the little rich girl to a strong woman, with a few insecurities. Blake is just the guy to have her back in work and her personal life. They are working to close down a gang who'd hurt Logan's, another Anderson brother in their family security business, now wife.

Alexis is a novice but has the contacts to infiltrate the gang. It's a dangerous undertaking. Will she learn what they need or lose her life trying?

I enjoyed this enough to go get the rest of the series.

What a great story

This is the second book I believe in a series of 4 or 5. I really enjoyed the first book so much that I got into the second. What a great storyline a perfect mixture of suspense and romance. What a fantastic read I would recommend this book to anybody.

I have read the previous book as well . I love the story very much. The Anderson brothers are tuff on the outside, but they are the sweetest to the women they love.. I don't care for how they drag out the story.

Swoons, excitement and danger

I loved, loved Alexis and Blake’s virgin, coworkers romance. The suspense was well balanced with the romance creating a perfect contrast in this heartwarming, steamy, exciting, and healing story. I have a soft spot for the people who are a bit uncomfortable in their skin because they don’t feel like they fit in or are worthy, like Alexis. So I love when they finally see their truth and they get swoon worthy HEAs. Blake is a fraternal triplet who was physically abused by his mother. After his mother murders his father, he and his brothers decide to return to their hometown to start a business, Ace Security, to help other abused people. Alexis is from a rich family and is working as an intern with Ace Security. Alexis agrees to go undercover by reconnecting with a childhood friend in order to get information on the gang who helped set up Grace in book one. For Alexis it was love at first sight the minute she met Blake but she believes he’s out of her league. She wants to help Ace Security anyway. Blake falls a bit slower. The more they work together, the closer Alexis and Blake become and the more danger Alexis is in. The story was well written and included witty dialogue, three dimensional characters who grow, and an engaging storyline as shown through sweet moments, steamy scenes, chuckles, supportive friends, messy families, painful pasts, dangerous situations, uber protective men, and all the love. I can’t wait read the next book in the series.

Erin Bennett did a good job narrating the story and characters into life with enough change of inflection, tone and cadence to voice multiple characters fairly convincingly.

Blake and Alexis!

Alexis met the brothers from Ace Security in the first book of the series Claiming Grace when her brother was an unwilling participant when Grace was being blackmailed. Since then she has been working at Ace and specializes in investigating social media. She has a habit of changing jobs like most people change socks but she is enjoying her new position and especially being close to Blake.

Blake believes that Alexis is a rich girl who is trying to find herself which is at odds with how serious he takes his job. She wants to prove to Blake that she is a worthy member of Ace but when she offers to go undercover and has a way to infiltrate the Inca Boyz will Blake and his brothers be able to keep her safe?

This is a co-workers to friends to lovers story. Alexis has been attracted to Blake since they met but she never thought he would be attracted to someone like her. Once he found out her feelings for him he began to see her as a woman and from that moment there was no doubting that she was his and the only thing standing in the way was the danger that she now found herself in. This is a great addition to the series and I can’t wait for Nathan’s story.

Anderson Book 2

This is a great sequel to Book 1. Blake and Alexis is my second favorite couple after Grace and Logan.
