I loved this book!

I'm so happy that we got Daisy and Marcus's story with this Novella. I absolutely adored it. It gave me all the feels. Audible: I added the whispersync audible narration to this kindle book. The narrator was fantastic! She knocked it out of the park with Daisy's character. She was perfect. I highly recommend listening to this audiobook.

Building Castles

I have wanted this story for SO long, and it did not disappoint. I loved the insights into Daisy's childhood and her struggles and a little more info on just what kind of a man Marcus is. From the Rock Chick series, we already knew about Daisy's trauma at Smithies, and I was relieved that the graphic details were omitted for this short novella and that Marcus' aftercare and their love story was the main focus. The epilogue was a beautiful gift from KA to Daisy, Marcus and all their fans.

This is a MUST HAVE to complete the series and has some cute cameos where Daisy casually notices future friends long before they are introduced. Short but sweet. Perfect!

A great ending to a series

Really good story. The southern twang and get-ups were slightly annoying by the end, but it was such a short read. So, it was OK! I decided that I really like Kristen Ashley storytelling, so I will read more of her books. Funny, I think this is the last book in the series, now I'm think I will go to the beginning.

Just what I needed

Yes there was a tragic event, but it wasn't made into this "too dark" event, and the language wasn't "to raw", this was the perfect love story... A great KA read.... not sure I'll read the series but very happy I gave in to the novella.

5 Rock Chick Reawakening Stars

OMG… I want to have a man build a Castle for me!!
Marcus .. Swoon stole my beating heart!

I have been dyeing to learn more about Daisy since forever it feels like, she just has that charisma you can’t help but want to be near or learn about. Nothing seems to get her down, this book oh my it just hits you in the feels.

She deserves a Marcus more than anyone. She has her own hot guy right there.
This book is about her before Marcus and how she meets him and how they come a couple but it’s so much more. It’s a true love story.
It’s a story of how Marcus love’s Daisy. You can’t get more love story than that. I swear.

If you are even a little bit of a Rock Chick fan you’re going to want to pick up your kindle or your paperback, grab the audiobook and read this heartwarming love story of two who come one.

I bow down to Kristen Ashley for all of her work, but the Rock Chicks just have that extra place in my heart and it just grew today because of Daisy and Marcus.

I loved the narrator <3 She did a great job and she used her "Daisy" voice.

*You don't have to like my review but its 100% my opinion, and I am allowed to have it.*

Marcus and Daisy

What a great love story. My only problem, I wish it had been longer. Susannah Jones does a wonderful job voicing the characters. If you have read the Rock Chicks books, you will love this prequel about the love story between Marcus and Daisy.

Beautiful

I have been holding off on this story for a while now because I didn’t want the Rock Chick series to truly be over for me so fast. I’m sorry I waited because this story broke my heart and put it back together in a way I couldn’t imagine. Daisy & Marcus’s story just might be my favorite. There is so much beauty in their love I can’t stop smiling. Thank you for putting so much thought into the perfect story for Daisy. She will mean so much more to me when I re read the series again. Now if I could read about Darius’s happily ever after things would be complete. ❤️😉❤️

The Daisy story

To finally read the story behind Daisy and Marcus was brilliant. I really enjoyed learning about them from the past to the present. I loved that he built her a castle as all the way through the Rock Chick series and "the castle" is mentioned it was almost hinted at being something a woman might design and build, but no he built it for her because she loves knights and true endings. The epilogue had me reaching for my tissues but oh boy what a way to end!

Amazing

Absolutely an amazing book. started reading the Rock chick series, but once Daisy's book was available on audio i had to have it. her story was heart breaking, but i completely fell in love with Marcus nearly straight from the beginning. Her story is so hard and touches on subjects some people will find distressing , but i promise if you can finish this book you will not be disappointed. This is the first book I've shed tears over with the ending (Sorry no spoilers about the ending) Over all an AMAZING read/listen

Short but sweet

This is a short book and I had already read this on kindle so I knew it would be good. This is the story of Marcus, who operates his business on the “wrong side of the law”, and his Dolly Parton lookalike ex-stripper wife. These two glorious stereotypes have appeared often in past Kristen Ashley books and like many readers I was fascinated by them both and how their relationship formed. It is typical of Ashley’s superb skill as a writer that two side characters can grow and develop to such an extent that the readers need to know more. This is a love story about the meeting of two “soul mates”. Both are products of tragic childhoods and both fought hard to get away from poverty, using unconventional means that were the only avenues available to them. Their meeting and subsequent relationship starts with tragedy, but their path to happiness is fabulous to read and makes the reader really fall in love with both these characters. The epilogue and ending is Kristen Ashley at her best, but I do wish she had skipped the part where she roll-called every past couple from every previous book in the series. It was unnecessary and just drew the reader away from the magic bubble that we were enjoying with this very unique couple, because all I could think from this scene was where on earth did they manage to get last minute baby sitters for 17 kids???

Too short!!

After listening to the whole rock chick series (twice), it was great to hear about Daisy’s life & her future. Always knew Marcus was a good guy but was nice to hear his relationship with Daisy. The only bad thing was this book was way too short! :(

AWESOME

I never usually write a review, although I am a massive Kristen Ashley fan, I've read nearly all her books & listened to them as well. This tied the Rock Chick series up so well!!!!!
LOVED Susannah Jones, other books of KA read by Kate Russell were a little irritating due to the narrating but Susannah was brilliant as the southern bell Daisy 😃 Loved how KA revisited all those awesome Rock Chicks, I want to listen to them again. Also really liked how Marcus came across from the reading. I just wish it didn't end!!!!
