A 5-star Storm

A great romance filled with fire and ice chemistry between Finn and Julia and a lot of heart and loss.

As much of a standalone as it is, you will probably be confused so best start at the beginning or at least the start of Echo team.

sweetly captivating

Love everything about Finn, all his badassery to his guilt. Had me pinning for him. the fact they both have similar issues makes the story endearing and keeps you hanging on.
I had a hard time with the speed of Julia's narration. it sounded too fast and even double checked my setting. this aggravated me and deterred me from the book more than I preferred.
I wish there was more combative and intense scenes, maybe make longer, but I understand this is more of a love story. I feel it would only strengthen the dynamics of the couple.
the building sexual tension had me flustered and wanting. Add in the local of the story and you can picture the setting in the tents. that kiss and abrupt departure just before had me panting.

The last of an amazing series

The last in Brittney Sahin’s Stealth Ops series was thrilling from start to finish. She saved Finn for last and decided to go out with an epic adventure spanning New York, Dubai, Egypt, and the deserts in between. She brings in all the members of the teams for one last epic adventure and a sweet love story featuring a plethora of movie references and interesting characters.

Finn is assigned to bodyguard Julie, the sister of a friend, after she receives some death threats. However, she is hiding bigger secrets than that. She is digging into something dangerous trying to save a friend. The guys receive an assignment and Julie ends up accompanying them where things get messy and their objectives intertwine. (Totally vague I know. I REFUSE to spoil anything.) And that’s when things go from interesting to action packed both in the plot and the bedroom!

This book has steam, intrigue, action, and the entire team of guys! You’ll be racing to the end to find out what happens and uncover all the secrets and half truths that haunt this book. And the plot twist at the end?? You won’t see it coming. This was an incredible way to end this amazing series and the breadcrumbs for the next series are just too irresistible! I can’t wait to see where the teams go from here in the spinoff possibilities! I LOVE when characters from previous or other series make cameos in new stories!

Special Ops and Romance

This is book 10 of the Special Ops Series and I’ve read a few of these but not all so I was slightly lost when other story lines were woven in, but appreciated when I recognized characters from previously read story lines. If that makes sense. The Special Ops is very interwoven and I did get bored with some of this as it seemed to drag on. The female performance was a little tough to listen to.
A good listen to pass the time but not my favorite.

Cute

We written and Cute story, however the voices of the narratives are very difficult to listen to and, at times, hard to understand. Extremely exaggerated tones and pronunciations… wish I knew that from beginning, as it made it hard to get “into” the story because I was so distracted with the narratives voices.

Hang on Tight, Bullets whizzen

Traditional, behind the scenes and more. heart pumping action and suspense. Who done its and why mystery around a love story. doesn't get any better than that.

Couldn't finish it

I just could not get through this one. The male voice actor was ok, if a little gravelly and monotone and lacking in feeling. The female voice I just could not like- her "male" voice reminds me of the Alvin and the Chipmunk voices, and it absolutely threw off the mood. It's too bad because her regular voice is lovely.
The story is just fine- the writing has too many clichés and generic platitudes that I feel deter from the story. Also, this is the kind of book where I keep yelling in my head for the author to "show me" what they mean, rather than "tell me." How am I supposed to believe these people are attracted to each other when I haven't been shown why and how?
I meant to listen to this for the spicy bits, but the combination of the voice acting and the writing did not allow me to continue without laughing, so I tried to return it so I could purchase it for the Kindle, but apparently I am not allowed any more returns.

Amazing book

What an amazing book and narration. This story has all our favourite characters and some from previous series too. It’s full of drama, intrigue and suspense. I’m sad to see these wonderful characters sort of end Altho I know we’ll meet them again in the future.

Listen Now!!

I listened to this book so quickly. Brittney has the ability to suck you into a storyline. The narrative was easy to follow and just flowed.

the characters Julia and Finn are becoming my new favourites and I fell in love with this story.

I recommend listening to the other books in her series if you haven't already but this can be a standalone.

divine listening!!!
