Abruptly recalled and informed of the existence of his daughter and her illness, Anubis slipped through the shadows to help Sky, but found death threatened more than his daughter. In her attempt to find Kaeden Lang, Sky unknowingly jeopardized his Shadow World existence by alerting an enemy Kaeden Lang can’t eliminate. Only Anubis can.

WOW!

What a story line! I loved the characters. I laughed. I cried (I normally don't) I sat on the edge of my seat. I give this book 500%. I hope the rest of the books in this series are just as good. I couldn't put it down.

Great book and series!

Love love this series! Characters are interwoven and well portrayed as n each book! Story continues to develop or can be stand alone. I hope the series continues with 2nd generation!

Fell in love with all!

I absolutely fell in love with this storyline. The organization was an impressive take. It easily captured me and I listened to all books I could get a hold of. Waiting for ICE.

Loved the start to this series! Also found a new favorite narrator in Matt Haynes. Great pace and an amazing story, look forward to continuing the series with this author Kris Michael’s

Holy cow Batman

This was so well written I listened to the whole book in one day. It’s THAT GOOD! I am excited to dust the next book in this series! Get it, you won’t be sorry!

Loved it

I’m was attached to the first book so fast and I just couldn’t stop, Drove me crazy while I worked and listened to this! Narrator did an amazing job, and I love Anubisssssssss

Man I disliked Skye

As far as the plot of the book goes, I was a bit co fused by the way Skye was portrayed. In some instances, she was strong and did what was right for herself and daughter. However, in others, she was so dang weak I just wanted to slap her. Kaeden was fine. I mean, I totally appreciated the research the author clearly did as far as the whole military stuff went. I also really liked the use of code words and sentences, made it more legit. The s*x scenes were unfortunately bland. I didn’t get the connection between the two main characters.

Now let me tell you about Matt Haynes. I’d never listened to him before, but if you liked Adam Driver’s voice as Kylo Ren, Matt is your guy. That part of the audiobook I enjoyed. I however do my think I’ll be listening or reading more from this author.

Where have these books been? How have I missed them? Excellent stories with incredible character and world building. Appropriate amount of steam🔥🔥 So glad I found this author and I'll be reading/listening to more of her stories
