Publisher's summary
Cassie's words dangled in the air like an invitation, warm and welcome. He couldn't likely bring her home without a simple kiss, now, could he? When their eyes met, Shane tilted his head, asking for permission with the lift of his brow. She nodded slightly - a silent response - yet the best thing he'd heard in weeks - Yes.
Twenty-four-year-old Cassie Lovell has a great job, good friends, and an apartment with a killer view. That is, until life is turned upside down. Without the chance to say goodbye, Cassie is forced into a witness protection program on Emerson Ranch. Just when she fears life is doomed, Cassie meets Shane Emerson, the stunningly handsome cowboy who'll be posing as her newlywed groom.
Shane Emerson is determined not to fall for the woman he's agreed to harbor. Especially since the whole thing was his family's way of trying to get him hitched. So why is it when he takes Cassie into his home, Shane wants nothing more than to turn their make-believe marriage into more than just a sham?
In a moment of weakness, Shane steals a kiss. In return, Cassie steals his heart. Yet before they confess their undying love, a hidden danger threatens to tear them apart.

Story
When some pretty little thing shows up at my doorstep with a suitcase, claiming she rented my house for the summer, I waste no time informing her that my house isn't for rent. Some Internet jack*ss scammed her out of all her money, but that's not my problem. Only when I find her sleeping in her car a couple days later, I can't turn my back. I make her an offer: room and board in exchange for working on my ranch. She agrees, and I open my doors to a girl who sings too loud, sticks her nose where it doesn't belong, and distracts me with her tight jeans and those full lips.

Reid Jackson - I’m a simple guy. There are only two things I love: my family and playing professional football. I may not understand why people get married, but I’d go anywhere for my brother, even his friend Camille’s wedding. Once I’m there, I realize our Bronx upbringing has left me unprepared for the world of old Southern money. Over 24 hours, I see scandal, threats, and lies. It’s a life I don’t relate to, a place I never want to belong. Even so, when the minister asks if anyone objects, I shock not only myself but also the beautiful bride when I stand up.

Great Series!
Any additional comments?
This is a great series; this is the third book in the Sweet Montana series by Kimberly Krey. Cassie Lovell is twenty four years old and is loving her life, she has a great job, friends, and a great apartment. When Cassie’s life is put in danger, she is sent to Emerson Ranch into witness protection. While at the ranch she meets the sexy cowboy Shane Emerson.
The narrator Lesley Ann Fogle did a great job with this book, and was very easy to listen to. She did a great job with the different voices of each character in this book. It was very easy to listen to in one sitting.
If you are looking for a book with a great story, and characters then you need to listen to this book. I am looking forward to listening to the next book by this author and narrator.

Possibly my favorite!
I read all 3 books in the Sweet Montana Bride series back to back, and I'm pretty sure Cassie is my favorite of them all. Her story is so heartbreaking and Shane's understanding of why she responds certain ways to certain situations is so touching. I loved the twists this one took. I loved Jade even more after finishing this book as well. I've fallen head over heels in love with their entire family and I know I will listen to all 3 books again! For now, I'm moving on to Second Chances because I can't seem to get enough of Kimberly Krey! Oh- and the last line of this one...so many tears. Loved it!

Finding Home on the Ranch
What did you love best about Cassie's Cowboy Crave?
I love the beautiful blue Montana skies. Picturing those wonderful scenes full of fresh air, and at night, all of the wonderful stars in the sky. It is intoxicating to put myself in such a place. I absolutely love it.
What did you like best about this story?
One word, pie. That's right, pie. There is a part in this novel that deals with such a pie and I found it very humorous. It wouldn't be right of me to go spoiling it now, would it?
What about Lesley Ann Fogle’s performance did you like?
The way she captures that perfect drawl. It is very impressive and sounds rather genuine to my ears. (However, I've only been to Montana once so how should I know)
Was there a moment in the book that particularly moved you?
The most moving parts for me were the familial aspects of the book. Those parts had me sitting back, pondering this or that. It was a very positive feeling from the novel.
Any additional comments?
Highly recommended.

Gotta love those Montana cowboys!!
Would you consider the audio edition of Cassie's Cowboy Crave to be better than the print version?
The print version has its own merits, however, this audio version really brings the story to life. I loved the book when I initially read it but this narrator does such a phenomenal job that you become immersed in the story.
What other book might you compare Cassie's Cowboy Crave to and why?
Either of the other two books in this series are amazing, as well. Reese's Cowboy Kiss or Jade's Cowboy Crush.
Which character – as performed by Lesley Ann Fogle – was your favorite?
This narrator has an amazing ability to interpret male voices. She did an excellent job on the male lead, Shane. He's usually quite lovable and playful but she portrays his angst-ridden moments quite well, too.
Was there a moment in the book that particularly moved you?
Even though I knew what was coming and that the book would end well, I have a hard time with the scene where Cassie is relocated and Shane arrives too late to say goodbye. That whole section of the book is very moving.
Any additional comments?
You won't go wrong with this audio book. The story is great, as are the characters. Any of this author's books are well work listening to.
