Publisher's summary

The rapid development of technology and globalization has changed the leverage points in accumulating wealth: money, meaning and freedom.

Serious food for thought, but more so for action

The End of Jobs by Taylor Pearson, brings to light the risks of staying the course of the status quo, when it comes to traditional jobs, while encouraging less is more when it comes to true freedom and fulfillment. As always, one will find some bones to spit out, but there was plenty of meat for actionable thought nourishment.

Loved it so much, I want to hire a narrator.

Great content, but awfully monotonous narration by the author. Even the questions ended in a downward inflection. It was read like a ho-hum middle school essay, but the content was absolutely awesome. So I dealt with the narration.

Great book, but narrator could be better.

I loved the story and ideas behind this book. However, I know it's his own book and all, but I would've liked someone else to narrate this book.

Inspiring

This was a great book. Useful information headed out in a logical way. However, most importantly, is has moved me to take action. I am inspired, and I now know that now is the time. Thanks.

Clear presentation of our future and possibilities

Ideas were weighty and well-backed: I needed longer pauses and musical interludes, and perhaps more reflective music, to digest.

Motivating and action inspiring

Great points that strike a realistic balance between research/facts and philosophy. Helped me get out of a mental rut. Recommend++

Pretty insightful and inspiring

Wish it was longer. Got tons of information here. Creating a business is hard...but not as hard as we make it seem. Financial freedom is achievable.

I think he's on to something here !

What made the experience of listening to The End of Jobs the most enjoyable?

The reality of what's really going on around us. He's done his research and seems to be well informed.

Did you have an extreme reaction to this book? Did it make you laugh or cry?

some parts were funny, some were somewhat surprising. Makes complete sense to me, I have believed this for many years. The age of the Entrepreneur ! Love it !

Any additional comments?

Loved the audio book. I'm on my second listen. We need more people with vision like Taylor.
