Another Great Addition to the Series

This latest addition to the DRMC series was well written and filled with the endearing characters and engaging story line that we have come to expect from Harley Wylde. Umi Markkanen has once again done a great job breathing life into this book and making this a fun listen. I can't wait for the next collaboration between this author and narrator.

Book 4 - Dixie Reapers MC

Book 4 in Wylde's Dixie Reapers MC series and is the story of Bull and Darian. While this can be a stand alone read / listen there are characters that are starting to crossover and intermingle so if able it's better when read in series order. I love these strong, alpha MC protectors and Bull is no exception. Touch and a bit of an A-hole, but not a total A-hole, he's finding more and more his need to find that someone / something special that so many of his close "brothers" have recently found and when Darian comes thru the gates of the Dixie Reapers compound it seems that he's found what he's looking for. Darian herself has never known what's it's like to be wanted - that is until Bull. Will they both be enough to satisfy what the other needs and will their family ties destroy or make them all the closer?!? Loved this book and these characters - a well written, well narrated age gap romance with a good storyline that flows smoothly and is sure to please. Can't wait for more!

Being in Control

4.5 stars - I'm not sure Darian's limited experience makes sense given how she ends up at the Dixie Reaper compound but it does make for a very dirty and fun introduction to Bull. All of him.

I like how Bull falls faster than his Harley can ride. It's entertaining. The two of them light up everything around them. They are sweet and incredibly hot!

Of course, this is an MC book so it isn't all fun and games. There's trouble to be dealt with and the reintroduction of another MC with setup for another book or two, perhaps even a series!

I received an author's copy of the audio book. Umi Markkanen is the narrator. She does a good job with all of the voices. I enjoy the light southern accent.

Bull Lives Up to His Name!

When Darian runs from the man, she came to town with because of the nefarious situation she was placed in, she finds herself at the Dixie Reapers MC. She collapses in Bull's arms, and it will start them along their journey. When his MC dig for information on Darian, they find out that her father is the VP of the Devil's Bone Yard. The narrator brought the story to life and had me picturing the story as it unfolds. It drew me in and had me all caught up in in Darian and Bull's story!

Who knew Papa Bull was so sweet and sexy? love everything about this couple, yes he's older than her but she's very mature for her age. They're perfect for one another, author Harley Wylde is always a oneclick for me, and the narrator she chose for this book did amazing.

full of adventures

I have very mixed feelings about this book.
On the one side, this was a very enjoyable story. Full of twists and turns, full of adventures, full of great characters. Long enough for Bull and Darian to develop their relationship and short enough to cut out all not so necessary side-story.
On the other side, personally, I don't enjoy stories of so big an age-gap. Usually, if the story is good (as was this) I simply ignore the fact and enjoy myself. But Umi Markkanen did spectacular work on giving the characters such appropriate voices and nuances that showcased their background, age, and personality, that it was very hard to forget the age-gap.
Regardless, I did enjoy myself very much. Thank you!

this story was just terrible the narrator was so cyborg sounding bland truly reading from the page with no feelings at all hates it
