Publisher's summary

The Boneyard Brotherhood Three Book Collection contains three hot novels about bad boy bikers and the women they fall for...hard. Each salacious novel follows an ex-military bad boy who is recruited into the Brotherhood and has to navigate the club as well as their feelings for their new loves.

Overhaul

I can repair an engine. Can she overhaul me?

After the incident in Iraq, I found myself at the end of my rope, contemplating the taste of my 9mm. That's when he found me; they found me.

The Boneyard Brotherhood took me in, gave me purpose. My life became about my bike, my brothers, my freedom. But there was still something missing - something I needed but couldn't put my finger on.

That something came walkin' in the door of our club, wantin' to serve papers to Teddy, the man who brought me to the Brotherhood. She was meek, conservative, shy. What she didn't know was that she was also going to be mine.

Once I laid eyes on Madi, I knew I had to have her, her curves, her subdued smile, the way her face flushed when I called her Sweetcheeks. But before I could make her mine, I had to convince her to look past the tough tattooed biker image she was afraid of and find the real me.

Enforcer

I'm an Enforcer. It's what I do.

I was brought to the Boneyard Brotherhood to do one thing: keep everyone in line. Break our code, run afoul of our laws? It's my boot that will be bringing you back in check. If there was a problem, I'm the one who took care of it by whatever means necessary. My own safety was never a concern. I enjoyed the thrill, the adrenaline, and the rush that I had lost since leaving the marines. But all of that changed when I met her.

Dylan, the nurse who patched me up after a mission went a bit afoul, she managed to set up shop in my head. It was something no other woman had done before - make me care about not only her but myself. Suddenly, I minded if I was going to be in danger, shot at, or stabbed. I had to change - for her. But would the Brotherhood let me?

Rebel

When I joined the force after coming back from the sandbox, I didn't expect my day-to-day life to be anything but routine. It wasn't. I was barely more than a rookie when I was tapped to go undercover with some biker gang made up of other veterans...the "Boneyard Brotherhood" they called themselves. While my partner, Tara, posed as my pretend girlfriend, we were tasked with finding evidence the sheriff could use to convict the members. It seemed easy enough.

It wasn't, though. Things soon got complicated, both at the Boneyard and between Tara and me. I had feelings for both. The members of the brotherhood had become just that, brothers, and I wanted to drop the "pretend" from my status with Tara. But it was only a matter of time before the Boneyard found out I was a plant, and I was going to get stung.

Highly recommend this set.

An absolutely fantastic set of books.
This has three stories to listen to and the main
thing they have in common is they are all about
The Boneyard Brotherhood MC .
Each book has a different character from the MC club
and they are based around there relationship and how
they find love .
The Narrator was great to listen to .

A great collection of stories!

This is a nice collection of books. This is not your typical MC. In these book we get to meet and know only a couple guys at a time except for two. Teddy and Wilson appear in all the books. They kind of mentors and move this club along. There is a story that kind of continues through each book. Which was wonderful.
We meet Syd in the first book(Overhaul). His military life would have wrecked me. Yowzer! This poor guy! I can’t even imagine. But he lucks out and finds Teddy. This is a great start to this series. Many ups and downs but i loved how the club was there for him even on rainy days. Madi comes along and he never wanted anyone else again. I loved his “game” on getting her. He never had a doubt it would happen.
“Gonna put a ring on it”-thoughts in his head

The second book(Enforcer) we meet Jerimiah Cole. He is the enforcer for the club. I loved being in his head and seeing how every treats him. After he takes care of some leftover business from book 1 he gets injured. That’s where he meets his forever girl, Dylan. She is a nurse and just keeps patching him up and making him feel better. The club business seems to be taking over their lives. Not sure if everyone will end up ok. We also get a sweet lead into book 3

Rebel was my favorite...well let’s say a tie for my favorite in the series. This story is a continuation of something that happened in book 2. In this story lines get drawn and it’s up to each person if they cross or how far over they cross. Miller...wow..I enjoyed his character. He is between a rock and a hard place. I wasn’t sure which side he was going to fall on. I just loved everything about his story. I was happy to read the Epilogue as well.

This was a nice selection of stories. I actually grew to like all these guys the more I read/listened. I did listen to this on audio and Gideon Welles did a good job. I enjoyed his deep timber when he did these guys

Really not impressed.

1. Overhaul- Umm I don’t know what was going on for most of this book and that’s not from lack of listening or paying attention. Whatever this series is about really... I don’t get “MC” out of it. It’s more about being a veteran than anything and there really isn’t any real “brotherhood” or “family” feeling to the club itself. As far as the romance aspect. It moved kind of quick… I mean warp speed. I don’t like how judgy the heroine is in this book and she was really annoying towards the end. It was a very hard listen but since I bought the set, I’ll attempt to finish it. The narrator is terrible. His voice is monotone and made the book even more boring. There was no inflection to determine when someone else in the conversation is speaking, including the females. This could make for a long 16-17 hours. I’ll have to break this up.
2. Enforcer- So, once again I can not claim this to be an MC series. I can honestly say it’s more like veterans who are not acclimating well to being home and have grouped together with motorcycles, doing some things that are not so legal (which not all of them are clearly stated) and acting as an MC. There is not brotherhood or camaraderie, despite the club name. It’s even stated that they are now free from the military and are getting “shot and stabbed more” than when they were on tour. They don’t go on rides together for bonding and don’t have parties. However, there is a situation that does seem MC like where it calls for some of them to ride out. Using a few of the MC verbiage does not make an MC. I can say that I did like the heroine a little bit better in this book however we know NOTHING about her or her backstory. She’s just kind of there. There’s not character buildup in this series as far as the women go. The author has made the women very quiet, skittish and at times a little prudish and I hate that. And once again… the narrator. I can’t. There was a part where the heroine asks the hero to say something in a sexy way and all he did was deepen his monotone voice but it sounded more like he had phlegm caught in his throat…in no way was that sexy.
3. Rebel- this book was a little better than the previous two. Surprisingly, the heroine wasn’t some little mousy prude. She was strong and smart and an equal to her partner. The story coincides with the previous story so to understand what’s going on… I would recommend at least reading Enforcer first. THAT IS, IF, you actually get through Overhaul. A little more mystery and intrigue here as far as the story goes and it seems the author is starting to get the hang of what an MC is. A little bit but not completely. It’s still very rough. However, the brotherhood part begins to come together more. Unfortunately, I still don’t get chemistry from the couple and I don’t get any heat from the sex scenes. They are just kind of there. Once again with that very same narrator. He’s almost like nails on a chalkboard at this point.

Great Read

The Boneyard Brotherhood Three Book Collection was a good read by Amber Burns. This box set consists of; Overhaul, Enforcer, and Rebel. They follow three members of The Boneyard Brotherhood. They're a biker gang where the members are all former military. I really enjoyed these books and can't wait to read more by the author.

no action but well performed

I only made it through the first book. I appreciate how it really kept pace with the main characters war wound and gave realistic expectations of him with it. however this is sold as an MC romance. there is no action and almost no suspense. the narrator did a great job, but in short the book was boring.

Not a MC Book

I read the reviews and thought I’d give it a try. I’ve listened to the first story and I totally thought I’d return this one if I could. It wasn’t horrible, just boring and characters are undeveloped. The 5 stars reviews are misleading. The characters feel like they are 16 & 17 and not 24 & 30 years old.

I’ll listen to the other two stories in hopes that it gets better.

The Boneyard Brotherhood Collection

So love listening to Gideon Welles, toe curling in a very good way.

I love all three of the book in this set. I have all three and have listened to them at least twice.

Boneyard Brotherhood is a MC of ex military men who now have joined a MC . You will find men struggling physically and mentally with there past. But the Brotherhood is a family. Love , loyalty and some hot sex scenes ...

Not much of a story

I was disappointed in these stories as I thought there would be action, suspense and romance but there really isn't much plot here. I persevered to the end because I was listening to a review copy.

Book 1 **
The narration is very good but the story is so so. I was expecting a story based around an mc club but it is an instant love romance story. The female lead reads as though she is 14 years old which makes their love story quite creepy.

Book 2 **
Another unrealistic and lazy way of bringing two characters together early in the book. What kind of a nurse phones a patient, a stab victim, to 'end her dry spell'?

Book 3 ***
This one was the best of the three. It had a decent storyline involving an undercover cop in the MC.

You need this

These 3 books are fantastic about real people with real problems and how love can help deal with those problems. There are also important messages to each book which is a good reminder for everyday life. They also have a fantastic narrator with a amazing gravelly voice.

Unexpected plot

Overall a very enjoyable listen. I went in to this blind so to speak not read anything by this author before. The narrator had a great voice and each book was very different. Bk 1 revolves around Sid, a vet with disabilities bk 2 involves Cole the enforcer and bk 3 involves a club member Miller. The club politics are fairly peripheral in book 1 but take on increasing complexity over the three books.
The main things I liked were:
No scenes with club girls and no ‘other woman’ trope.
That the men struggle with genuine vet issues either physical or mental/emotional and provide a solid support group for each other
All were from the male pov which is uncommon but enjoyable.
Two of the women were strong characters
Good side characters particularly van cleef
Main downside was Maddie in bk 1 was a fairly insipid heroine and in bk 2 that Cole had only known his girl for 2 weeks of booty calls but still involved her in club business. I liked how that panned out though.
I received this as a review for #audiobookobsession but would willingly purchase further audiobooks in the series and list to others with the same narrator

The BoneYard Brotherhood Three book collection by Amber Burns. I like how the characters in these books have Military backgrounds. The book's focus more on the couple's then MC life. These books are more on the sweeter side for me. I like my MC books more on the darker side. The Narrator did a good job.

Different MC stories than I'm used to

While I quite enjoyed these stories, they were a little pedestrian for me as MC stories, although they are probably more realistic. All the main characters were likeable but the men didn't really come across as badass bikers to me - they came across as a little too soft at times. The narrator was good, but sounded too old to me but I found it easier to listen to when I increased the speed a little. I think this is a set of books that I would probably enjoy reading more than listening to.
