A Cry from the Womb - Healing the Heart of the World contains astounding information that completely reframes the debate between pro-life and pro-choice. It offers an alternative viewpoint that will make you stop and reconsider all you have ever believed.

English born author, Gwendolyn Awen Jones is a medical intuitive and spiritual teacher. She has had the gift of spiritual sight since childhood and can see all levels of the human energy field. This has helped her diagnose conditions in clients who have had various illnesses that doctors had not been able to heal. She has found that illness can relate directly to the loss of a child, even if that child was lost many years ago. In the event of a difficult death, a child's soul may remain entangled in the energy field of the mother or father if it has not been safely guided back to the light. This is particularly true with abortions, miscarriages and stillbirths as often no transitional rites have been done. Emotional cords from the grieving parents can hold the child's soul back depleting all concerned, causing depression, cancer, or even suicide attempts in the parents if not resolved with healing and prayer.

Stunning case histories provide insights into the wounding at all levels caused by these losses and the healing that should be done to balance parents, and help the child's soul during this critical time. Gwendolyn provides proof of the awareness of the incoming child's spirit even in the early days gestation. She teaches that a woman should lovingly speak with the spirit of her child at all times. In the event that the timing of a pregnancy is not appropriate, she explains that a child's spirit is intelligent and can be gently spoken to. She gives examples that prove the child's spirit can understand and consciously choose to leave the body.

At this critical time in history, many wounded souls cry out for help after sudden death. It is important to understand how to guide them to the light with love. Prayers are included in the back of the book for healing all involved and to assist the transition of all souls no matter how they were lost. As each family heals their hearts, the Heart of the World heals also.

Profound, helpful and something unmissable

I had an abortion 8 years ago, and always felt a massive surge of regret. Despite trying self forgiveness and hoping the baby was in heaven, I never felt peace in my heart.

Reading this book was profound because it put to paper what I was feeling inside and showed me why. It also showed my why it was good and actually helpful to let my child go and gave me prayers to connect with my baby and release them into the light.

Words can't express how grateful I am for Gwen, her work and this book.

Definitely recommend it

Potent and helpful

This book was just what I needed, just when I needed it.
I am so grateful to the author for creating this audiobook because in audio form I could actually be guided into the meditations in this book, and go through the process of healing and letting go I so needed to do.
Relief is possible. You don't have to just live with the pain.

Excellent!!!

Beautifully written and read. Grief and the recognition/integration of buried parts of self relevant to all, regardless of whether one has actually lost a child. Do not skip the reference section.

Illuminating! Great listening! Award winning!

‘A Cry from the Womb’ covers so much more that the emotive topics of sudden death, miscarriage, stillbirth and abortion. Gwendolyn’s gift of spiritual sight around this issue brings a dimension to life and death which is hidden from most of us.

Gwendolyn’s own unique story describes the loss of three children in different and challenging circumstances. She explains how she found the healing she needed and how she then began to teach others with compassion and deep understanding how to heal from loss.

In her healing practice, Gwendolyn has found that the lost child's soul may continue to be ‘attached’ to the parents if all involved are not helped to heal from the loss. Continued grief can cause illness in a parent and the emotional entanglement with the child can hold the child's soul back. Distressed parents are usually searching for answers for what appear to be physical ailments, yet the cause often needs to be resolved spiritually. This is highlighted beautifully in the many intriguing case histories. Through prayer work, Gwendolyn is able to connect with the child’s spirit and disconnect the emotional ties between the parents and child. This brings about healing, lifts and unburdens all souls to come to resolution and forgiveness. The child's soul once healed then is assisted into the light.

To continue your own healing, Gwendolyn offers guidance and prayers. It’s like opening the door to another world, where it’s possible to speak with the spirit of the child and provide healing to all concerned. The Forgiveness Prayer has literally been a God-send for me personally and as an Energy Worker. Many of my clients have benefited greatly. Asking forgiveness of others and for yourself brings a freedom and lightness, eliminating negative emotions and soothing situations, now or in the past.

Bold and Meaningful

I am blown away by Gwendolyn’s work. It feels extremely brave of her to take this work on and help mothers and parents face the trauma of child loss - and be able to do something about it. So much wisdom and profound healing in this book. High recommend.
