One sassy pyromaniac thief, three sexy-as-sin monsters, and a paranormal conspiracy of epic proportions.

It was an ordinary job. Another night, another asshole collector of the supernatural. I free some poor little beasties from their cages, pocket a few trinkets to pay my bills, and burn the place down on my way out. Just call me the Robin Hood of monster emancipation.

I didn’t count on three manly monsters following me home like lost puppies. Stunningly hot lost puppies, but still. Now I’ve got a seductively cheeky incubus, a sweetly enthusiastic demon, and a grimly stoic angel camped out in my kitchen. They’re determined to repay me for my help, and they won’t get out of my apartment until they’re satisfied we’re even.

To be fair, they’ve got no place else to go. A covert band of hunters captured their boss, and the trail is ice-cold. I’ll lend a hand if it means I can send them on their way...and when it looks like we’re up against the same creeps who murdered the person I loved most, you’d better believe I’m all in.

Track down the baddies.

Steal back the boss.

Don’t get killed along the way.

Oh, and maybe hook up with a monstrous hottie or two.

Piece of cake.

I’m so going to regret this.

FREE. need I say more. seriously though the dual narration is excellent I think the voice actors do a really good job one thing that kind of got on my nerves just a little bit is the voice the woman gives what's his name thorn is British has a British accent yet the male voice actor doesn't give him a British accent that kind of gets on my nerves but otherwise I didn't narration and everything's really great the plot I like it it's engaging it's really sucked me in I want to see what happens I think they're trying to I know what's going on a little bit but yes really great I recommend highly warning though there is a lot of smut in this

wow what can I say

I love this book! Vanessa and Aiden are absolutely amazing. This is book one in the Flirting with Monsters series. It is full of non stop action with just enough sexy times. I can't wait for book 2.

Good book with a good story line! Character development could be a little stronger but maybe that’s coming in the sequel? Definitely want to keep reading and see what happens In the story!

I chose this book in Kindle & opted for whispersync/audio also, because I've been too busy to sit still & read a book from beginning to end lately. I love being able to toggle back & forth. I really did enjoy this book, but the narration drove me nuts. Aiden Snow did a nice job on narration, but the weird accent that Vanessa Moyen gave Thorn was super annoying. In the beginning of the book, when Thorn's character was introduced, it was said that "His voice came out deep and gravelly" & "Thorn’s formal way of speaking and outfit of tunic and trousers suggested any significant time he’d spent here had been a few eras ago". That was in no way how Vanessa portrayed Thorn. What really drove me crazy though, was that while Vanessa portrayed Thorn with the weird & annoying accent... Aiden portrayed Thorn with no accent. It sounded deep & formal, the way you would expect from the description. I don't know how in the world this uber oops was overlooked. I personally think that a male narrator should follow the lead of the female narrator, when portraying the female characters. & the female narrator should follow the lead of the male narrator, when portraying the male charachters. Is it not normal for both narrators to have a sample, prior to the start of production, when producing dual narration? Ugh! I sure hope they figure this out before the second book. I really did enjoy the book. But I found myself waiting until I could actually read the Vanessa chapters in Kindle & then only listening to Aiden's narrated chapters... which wasn't convenient, nor what I had planned :(

*** Other than the weird accent of Thorn, Vanessa's narration was actually very good!

Loved the story, buuuuut...
