great book

My first time reading/listening to a Eva Chase book, I thoroughly enjoyed it. I enjoyed the build up of Ivys character. I really enjoyed Michelle Sparks narration of this books.

this book just pulled me in and would not let me go. I couldn't stop listening once I started reading and listening. so excited for all of them

Amazing story

I love Eva Chase! She has always astonished me with her writing! And this book does not disappoint me in that aspect. While I'm not one for a slow-burn, the action and story line, plot and characters are on point, making the slow-burn fantastic! However, I felt that the narrator in this book was reading everything line for line, like she was stating facts. The 'voices' she used sounded great, but it felt like she told the story the same way that Kristen Stewart acted in "Twilight", very monotone.

A compulsive and imaginative read - a very good start in this new series.

I can never be disappointed by this author. It also looks like I have a new favourite series.
