Stole my heart!

This just stole my heart, I am in love and want more!! Chase has created an intricate and magical world full of danger, secrets, conspiracy, and survival. I fell in love instantly with Ivy and both her unique powers and "roommate." The MMCs are each so different, yet powerful and swoony in their own ways. Though there wasn't much spice in this book, the chemistry and tension are *chef's kiss* I loved trying to navigate all the pieces and motivations and the explosive ending left me riveted and wanting. I can't wait for the next book! As for the narration, they nailed the performances and personalities of the characters. It added an extra dimension and realism to the story that only pulled me deeper into Chase's world.

Fun, epic world-building.

This one definitely hooked me from the start thanks to fun world-building and a very likable character, in an interesting predicament—not that you could ever go wrong with Chase! I mean, who doesn’t love a good female lead thief /street-rat?

Imagine a lost soul just sort of … accidentally latches onto you can your life is no longer your own? Well, you don’t have to, you could just read this!

This was a fun read that provoked thought and explored the boundaries of friendship, tested loyalties, treated the reader to magic and packed lots of adventure.

Magic & secrets

Ivy’s life may not seem like much, but it’s hers, and hers alone. Until it isn’t.
Ivy is a thief, in the slums, just doing her best to make life a little better for the people who live there.
Until she stumbles upon something that will change her and the course of her life.
This is such an amazing adventure, it’s full of gods, sacrifice, magic, secrets, devious plots, second guessing, lust, longing and friendship.
I can’t wait to see what’s in store for Ivy next!

great book

My first time reading/listening to a Eva Chase book, I thoroughly enjoyed it. I enjoyed the build up of Ivys character. I really enjoyed Michelle Sparks narration of this books.
